Anyway, here's my new obsession for the month: Tsukihime. Now, for those who don't frequent 4chan, Tsukihime is an ero-game (yes, porn) created by TypeMoon. TypeMoon back then was a small little group that wasn't even a company, and this was their first work. This is the game that launched them into becoming a name in the visual novel business.
Tsukihime centers around the protagonist Shiki Tohno, a sickly teenager that was granted the ability to see lines on everything. These lines, when cut, will 'kill' the object it was attached to, whether it is a person or a chair. This was a product of a accident that nearly killed him when he was only a little boy. In order to protect his reputation, Shiki Tohno's father, a wealthy entrepreneur, sent him away to live with a different branch of the family, where he grew up rather quietly. Eight years later, his father died and Shiki was called back to his old home, not knowing that his peaceful life was about to be shattered...
