"Who's making that noise?" I said sleepily to Frightful. She ruffled her feathers.

I listened. "Pop, pop." I rolled over and stuck my face in the grass. Something ( Read more... )

I always wanted to try grinding my own acorn flour and making it into pancakes. Catching a baby falcon would've been cool, too.

We haven't caught up in awhile, how's life back in Baltimore?

Life is awesome! My job is crazy but it pays for the off-hours things, which are mostly swing dancing these days. I'm looking into volunteering at women's shelters, doing a tiny bit of dating and trying to catch up with friends, so it's busy but fabulous!

How about you?

That all sounds like things are going well!

I am down to my last days in Maine for awhile! I leave on Tuesday for a week in Seattle, hanging out with Tyler Adams from Goucher and my best friend from middle school. After that, I'm heading to Alaska for a month-long backpacking/sea kayaking trip through the National Outdoor Leadership School. Then after that ends at the end of August, I'm looking to stay out in Seattle for awhile! We'll see how things pan out in the fall, but I'm definitely looking forward to trying something new for a change.
