I HATE ignorant men. Or just ignorant people in general, I suppose. This one kid that I'm facebook friends with because he was my lab partner for a class I had freshmen year is the BIGGEST dueche (HOW do you spell that word?!) on the planet. His status today- "After visiting the post office and biolife today, I've come to the conclusion that if u want to run a successful business you shouldn't hire women". Not just a women thing. Sure, there are crappy workers, but WHY assume from TWO instances that ALL WOMEN are the problem. I'm really not sure why I'm so fired up about this, it just makes me soooo mad. Maybe it's just because I knew him and even when he was my lab partner he was a jerk. He's just one of those cocky guys who thinks he's the shit and he has the right to say anything he wants. Which, sure, everyone has the right to say anything they want...that doesn't mean it's always socially acceptable to do so. It's fine if he has these opinions, people can think whatever they want...but it's a whole other thing to start voicing these opinions, especially on places as public as facebook. Maybe that's exactly what he wants to do..I don't know. All I know is that it pisses me off. I actually had him in a class last semester again, because he is, apparently, a stats minor. And our professor was REALLY COOL. I've had him for a few classes and he is honestly just so awesome. He's quirky, but a good teacher, and makes jokes all the time, and Mike (ignorant asshole) would like, snicker, and make rude comments sometimes after Gabrosek (sweet professor) tried to make a joke or something. So rude.
AND THEN. Of course, I was checking out his page to see if I could find any more ridiculous crap to see just how often he is so open with his innermost ass thoughts, and I found this-- "Applied to graduate today...proud of myself for accomplishing something many don't",
A. YOUR MISSING A WORD THERE, SONNY BOY. B. Even if you weren't missing a word, there are about a BILLION different, BETTER, more educated ways of saying that sentence. I'm not even sure that's grammatically correct. He makes people going to grad school look like morons. C. In the comments, he proceeded to talk about how he applied to Florida, because he can still "were" loafers everyday. ...honestly? Just no. I hope they see right through whatever bullshit essay you wrote and reject your idiotic self.
And almost every other status of his where he's not being a dick is like wah wah wah there's nothing going on at grand valley...shocker, no surprise, blah blah blah. um...then why the heck are you still here if you have so much against it? Also, there probably is, it's just that PEOPLE HATE PEOPLE LIKE YOU. I wouldn't want to hang out with you either you miserable ass.
I am deleting him as a friend, as soon as I finish writing this entry, but before I do, I SO badly want to write on his wall, and be like, I just want you to know that you are absolutely everything that's wrong with the world.
K. I think I'm done venting now. Felt good to get that off my chest. Also, from now on, anytime I see anyone on facebook doing anything that I think is stupid, dumb, or immature in a harmful way, I am unfriending them. I don't care who it is. That's it. People like that bring the rest of the world down. And I only want to go up.
