Life is quite fascinating

Hm. Today was interesting....

After school, I headed out right away to Cady's house in Spooner to meet her and catch up and stuff... DAMN she's changed.  We talked about lots of stuff, mostly guys, drugs, and school stuff and watched part of From Hell.  After that, we had dinner with her family.  Her dad is like (Jim P)*2.  We were sitting and eating, then he starts asking me questions like "Why'd ya come all the way from Minneapolis to see a cute girl?  Don't they have any in Minneapolis?"  and, in reference to their exchange student from Denmark, "Hey Eric, ya think she's hot?"  PLUS his job is to fix old cars... his current car is a 1969 Mustang, just like Jim P.  Oh, and he wasn't wearing a shirt at the table.

Her exchange student (Ricky) is funny, she has a STRONG accent, and the entire family constantly jokes around like "Go back to Denmark!" and "Shut up Ricky you're Danish!"

I had a blast... It was fun just sitting with her.. we didnt "do anything" but thats not why I went there...

The night was going perfectly, I gave her a goodbye kiss when I left, and on my way home on 694 I fucking hit a deer. KA-BOW!  *luckily* its only the hood that is damaged... anyone in physics wanna do the math on what the force of a 100lb deer hitting a car at 60mph would be?  I'm lucky, I guess.  If I was lucky I wouldn't have hit it, but compared to what it could have done (and if it was a little bit taller/bigger I might be dead) but HEY, I don't care.  I figure I won't drive for a while after this, but its fine.  Bob is close to getting his license, and everywhere I need to go I can walk, besides class, which I can have my parents give me rides to.  I'll still drive and stuff, just drastically less then I have been.

It's good for the environment.

Massive Attack = pretty cool.  Cady told me to listen to them, and they ain't half bad.

Oh, and I am leaving to go hunting for the weekend.  Not really looking forward to it, but its the one thing I do once a year with my stepdad.  It's a man thing, walking into the woods armed with a gun, hoping to kill a woodland creature that has no way to defend itself, besides running like hell with a gaping wound in its chest, hoping to die peacefully in some grass and not cut up and made into jerky.

I need to drink.
