So yeah... haven't really posted in a while.
I was going to write about the whole weed thing, but fuck it. I guess I know who is an adult and who is not. I guess I am kinda disappointed in who falls where.
Just finished Half-Life 2. The ending was disappointing. I wanted Freeman to hook up with Alyx, but maybe thats because I'm a perv. I loved the gravity gun in the Citadel, in every room I flung the bodies all over the place until they fell down a chasm. I thought that the G-man would play a larger role, but his small apprearance at the end seemed lame. I don't want to wait for Half-Life 3. Grr.. It is an amazing game, I highly recommend it to anyone with a computer good enough to run it. It is like the first one... it re-defines the genre. Halo2 is pong compared to this shit.
I'm working a lot now... usually putting in at least 30+ hours a week, plus a full-time student. So far it hasnt affected me, fatigue-wise. We'll see how this goes.
So, I was going to move out, but I kinda realized that it wasn't a good idea (nods to Ozzy). I dunno, I figure I can wait until next August or something.
ITEM! So last night UPN ran a news story on a street racing bust on Vandalia just off University Ave. The bust actually happened in September, and two kids (Pete T and Corey N) from out school were there. From what he said, it was nuts. The cops were waiting in a warehouse across the street and they had undercovers in the crowd. 20-something racers got caught, 300 cars total (most cars at these things don't actually race) and eight cars got away, and Peter knows 3 of them. The news crew interviewed Peter, and he said something like "They had this shit orchestrated, its nuts". I believe him. He showed the tape of the news thing in class today. It was a good diversion.
It's late. I'm going to bed now. Peace?
