Facebook

Facebook challenges MySpace for the stalker tendencies of American teens. Why bother talking to your friends when a quick click on their name reveals their last 25 some odd actions? Didn't know those people who were only your facebook friends ebcause of a friend you share and their obsession with numbers now you know that they added new photos, got out of their relationship and created a group, what the hell. I appreciated facebook as a semi dormant directory of people and easy means by which to stay in touch with old high school friends hose numbers get lost in the shuffle of phone and area code changes, and then I even got used to facebook as a means by which everyone can share their stupid pictures of you with the world, it is cheaper than film. Things have gone a bit too far when I see everyones info about whatever the hell they are doing before me. I can't even tell how to find out whose birthdays are coming up on the site anymore its buried somewhere in news, though I am sure I'll get a hundred messages syaing people are writing on your wall when it is your birthday. Not that I was ever big into facebook, but now consider it possible the worst way to communicate with me, I may reply to snail mail quicker. If things tame out in the near future i'll give them the chance, but i don't see it happening. Hooray pointless intrusion for people who don't have anything better to do with their time.
