1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5 (Lisia/May)?
The second I met Lisia in Slateport City. It's so clear she that liked May and wanted to see her succeed, it must have been Love at First Sight for her. And as May got into contests and getting into the groove of them, I could see her starting to like her back too~ ♥ It's nice and fluffy and adorable compared to the other lesbian ships on this list, haha. XD
2. Have you ever read fanfiction about 2 (Utena/Anthy)?
I haven't delved that far in Utena fanfiction yet, but I'm getting there. I've watched a lot of AMVs with them if that helps. :D
3. Has a picture of 4 (Madoka/Homura) ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr ID?
I've had plenty of MadoHomu icons on LJ/DW of its various forms. :D Madoka/Moemura, plenty of regular Madoka/Homura, Madokami/Homura, and even a Madokami/Homucifer.
4. If 3 (Jeff/Tony) were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?
I'll be sad, because that's my mega favorite ship for Earthbound. ;; Tony'll be heartbroken, but I think he'll survive. And Jeff can always be part of the Chosen OT4.
5. Why is 1 (Juri/Shiori) so important?
THOSE TWO ARE SO FUCKED UP, MAN. Juri refuses to admit weakness while Shiori sees nothing BUT weakness in herself. Yet they have so much more in common than they think; they similtaneously love and hate each other because they put each other on pedestals. Shiori can't stand Juri because she's "perfect," while Juri clings to her version of Shiori in her locket and refuses to acknowledge the real Shiori who betrayed her, even when she tried to apologize for what she did in middle school. Juri shoves her to the side while Shiori's all "PAY ATTENTION TO ME, DAMMIT, I WANT YOU TO KNOW WHAT A DESPICABLE BEING YOU ARE." Shiori wants Juri miserable and groveling and "below her," and yet, when Shiori does get Juri in that position, she feels guilty about it and attacks herself even more. THAT BLACK ROSE CONFRONTATION WAS SO CREEPY AND CHILLING IT MADE ME SHIP IT.
After wading through dreck like 50 Shades of Grey, I was scared of shipping dysfunctional ships because I didn't want to cater to the "romanticized abuse" culture. But when you got a ship like Juri/Shiori, where their chemistry and dynamic comes from DEAR GOD THEY'RE SO MESSED UP WTF ARE THEY GOING TO DO TO EACH OTHER NOW rather than sweep their actions under the rug as something rosy and romantic, I felt confident shipping dysfunctional ships again. ;; Not to mention the show makes clear that their happy ending had to be earned, where both Juri and Shiori grow as people. Now that's something I can get behind. ;;
6. Is 4 (Madoka/Homura) a funny ship or a serious ship?
*broken laughter before dissolving into a sobbing fit*
7. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
Utena/Anthy. The entire show and the movie is about them, after all. :o
8. Of all the ships, which ship has the strongest bond?
Madoka/Homura, to the point it really spiraled out of control, then took a turn for the worst in Rebellion. D:
9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s (Utena/Anthy's) fandom?
I just finished watching the series and movie for the first time at the end of last year. :) Mwoiiiiiiiing~!
10. Which ship lasted the longest?
Sorry Homura, resetting the timeline doesn't count. :P Jeff and Tony have been friends since they were little kids, but Utena and Anthy are older and spent a large amount of time at Ohtori together, so... Utena/Anthy.
11. How many times, if ever, has 5 (Lisia/May) broken up?
I wouldn't know, usually the only time you talk to Lisia is after you win a contest. They probably haven't even started dating yet. :o
12. If the world was suddenly thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3 (Juri/Shiori or Jeff/Tony)?
Tough call, since they're about even. We don't know much about Tony other than he got captured at Stonehenge. Juri & Shiori have fencing experience though (and the one time Shiori was a duelist during the Black Rose arc), so... gonna have to say Juri/Shiori. :P
13. Did 4 (Madoka/Homura) ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
Homura's distanced herself multiple times from Madoka over the timelines, and as of Rebellion, avoiding her until Madoka somehow regains her memories and challenges her.
14. Is 5 (Lisia/May) still together?
Again, they haven't dated yet. But I imagine that when they get together, they'll still be~ ♥
15. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 5’s (Lisia/May)'s ship?
*coughChazcough* Thankfully he seems to mellow a bit after you win Master Rank, though.
16. If all five ships were put into a couple’s Hunger Games, which couple would win?
It'd be a showdown between Utena/Anthy and Madoka/Homura. :o I think Utena/Anthy would have the advantage though. Knowing Anthy, she'd mess with Madoka and Homura big time, especially Homura. <.<
17. Which ship(s) would you defend to the death and beyond?
Jeff/Tony and Utena/Anthy, hands down.
18. Have you ever spent hours a day going through 3’s (Jeff/Tony's) tumblr page?
Yup. Usually doesn't take me long though, since the page is actually pretty short. Despite the claims that OMG JEFFTONY IS EVERYWHERE GODDAMIT THERE ARE SOME OF US WHO DON'T WANT TO SEE IT IN THE JEFF ANDONUTS TAG I fucking hate tumblr. :o You have better luck finding Jeff/Tony on Deviantart and Pixiv.
19. If an evil witch descended from the sky and told you that you had to pick one of the five ships to break up forever, which ship would you sink?
No skin off my back with Lisia/May. I ship May with Steven, Brendan, Zinnia, and Wally too. :D Ah, it's so good to be a multishipper~ ♥
