Rest in peace, Nelson Mandela. In a world full of bigots and prejudice, you have done so much for us and made planet Earth a better place to live. You had the courage to stand up to an oppressive society, and not even 30 years of jail would stop you from making things right for the people who needed you. I'm glad you weren't assassinated, which unfortunately happens to a lot of civil rights leaders. You deserved to live your life to its fullest and I hope it's been good for you. May your legacy go on as we continue to strive for equality and peace.
