Oh god oh god oh god. How did I go from researching sex this morning to being all "LULZ LET'S WATCH CREEPYPASTA"? With all that buildup of watching scary shit, Puri decided it wasn't a good idea to go to bed while it was dark. So she stays up all night. Which come to think of it, that might be a worse idea for two reasons: A. Don't want to lie in ( Read more... )

FWIW, the actual image that goes with Bongcheon-Dong Ghost comic isn't that bad. Least, I didn't think it was, and it's totally possible to break it if you know what your doing.

Just be glad you never ventured into Somethingawful forums "Bizarre unsolved mysteries" thread. I had trouble sleeping for weeks. Though it did help me find "Miracle of the Sun" which is cool to watch. It's dead now, but some bits have been saved here:

It's not all creepy, and some of it (The Voynich Manuscript) is neat, but yeah, be kinda wary about the possibility of nightmare fuel.

Also this is the best story:

At 11:00 a.m. that morning, Simonton was startled by a strange, loud noise outside and above his farmhouse. He stepped to the window and was surprised to see a silvery object coming down vertically in his yard. He approached the object, with no fear, whereupon a hatch in the upper portion opened and he saw three dark-skinned men inside. One of them handed him a silvery jug with two handles, made a motion like drinking, apparently indicating that he wanted water. Simonton took the jug, filled it and handed it back. Looking into the craft, he saw a man cooking on some kind of flameless cooking appliance. There were several small, perforated, cookie-like objects beside the griddle and Simonton motioned that he wanted one, whereupon one of the men handed 4 of them to him. Then the object took off at a 45° angle and was gone in just a few seconds. As it left, pine trees near the takeoff path bowed over, apparently as a result of air turbulence as the object went over.
