Yeah, I'm just going to keep an eye on this bid riiiiiiiiiiiiiight here. Omgomgomg.

I'm planning a Livestream, by the way. I haven't set a date yet, but I'd like work with the settings a bit and test it to be sure there aren't any major technical/computer problems. That said...

Would any of you be interested in watching Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure with me?

I know I bitched about it several times past entries, but in spite its flaws, I feel an odd sort of closeness with it. Basically, it's a 1977 film made in the Dark Age of Animation, directed by Richard Williams (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut) and animated by veterans and budding greats, with music and lyrics by Joe Raposo (Sesame Street). So basically, if you're:

A. Feeling nostalgic
B. An animation geek
C. Have a high threshold for wonky/trippy acid sequences
D. See above, applied to Nightmare Fuel
E. Mixed with a few moments of squee and adorable.
F. Willing to make silly commentary and perverted jokes.
G. Up for a little fun and not taking things too seriously
H. Able to withstand 15 seconds of horrible naked twin dolls dancing.*

*Knives to toss at the monitor will be provided.

Then you're welcome to watch Raggedy Ann with me. :3 And don't worry about the perverted commentary; the movie has that covered for you. In short, take a look at this article and the Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Nostalgic Mindfucks so you know what you're getting into. We promise to break your brain! :D

While everyone gets ready (I don't except there to be too many people, but hey, it'll be nice & cozy. ;D) I'll probably set up the two Chuck Jones Holiday Specials and "The Enchanted Square" so people won't be bored and have something to watch instead of me fiddling with icons on Photoshop or a desktop or something. XDD;;; I might read aloud a couple chapters from either of the Raggedy Ann books available at the Gutenberg Bible, but that's unlikely. Still a possibility, just in case.

raggedy ann & andy, i need less tags, fwends~!, movies
