Haha, hentai doesn't actually mean that. Western culture refers to porn as hentai, but hentai actually just basically means "pervert" or "weirdo" as slang.
I think the person who said that particularly stupid comment misunderstood lost to mean "misplaced temporarily." Which, granted, is still insanely stupid and offensive and horrible, but more driven by ignorance instead of heartlessness.
