Post five of your favorite lyrical passages (anywhere from a line to a couple of verses) from a band/artist. It doesn't necessarily have to be your favorite band, or even your all-time favorite lyrics. Then, tag as many people as you want.
i. The Sun is Often Out - Is your work of art so heavy that it would not let you live?
ii. Magpie - Little boy, little boy, lost and blue
Listen now, let me tell you what to do
You can run on, run along, alone, or home between the knees of her
All among her bracken and her ferns and the boy will have a name
And we will sing...
One for sorrow, two for joy
Three for a girl, four for a boy
Five for silver, six for gold
Seven for a secret never to be told
okay the entire thing, but it gets especially wibbly when Marianne sings. ;;
iii. The Libertine - The magician's secrets all revealed
And the preacher's lies are all concealed
And all our heroes lack any conviction
They shout through the bars of cliche and addiction
So I've got to go
I've got to go, so here I go
I'm gonna run the risk of being free
iv. The Childcatcher - You said, "I've got no time for victims and I don't think it was all that bad
And if you can't run to save yourself, then you deserve to be had
This is the age of constipation, this is the age of martyrdom
I think you even enjoyed it, I think I even saw you come..."
v. The Bachelor - Poor little turtle dove
Sitting up in pine
Mourning for your own true love
Why not me for mine?
Why not, why not me for mine?
~
‘Cos I know I’m not going to marry in the fall
And I’m not going to marry in the spring
I will never marry, marry at all
No one will wear my silver ring
Bonus: Tristan. FUCK YEAH.
Just... listen to it. Day 23: Favorite racing game
Mario Kart 64 by ~

deviantART To tell the truth, I'm torn between Mario Kart 64 and DoubleDash. Mario 64 because of the courses, the music, and the sweet sweet memories I made of turning Block Fort and the other Battle Courses into my personal war zone. I suppose technically, MK64's the better game, but DoubleDash is nice too, partially due to the team system and my Toadette bias. Who knew my favorite Mario characters suited so well with my Karting style? Yoshi smashes people up and gives me items in the process, and Toadette gives me a boost with a Golden Mushroom and a cute little laugh~ It's fun opening up Waluigi Stadium with Mario & Luigi and purposely drive them into the flames to hear them scream~ "EETSA MARIO TI--*BOOSH!* WHOA WHOA! WHOA WHOA!"
Runner Ups: Diddy Kong Racing ("Sex is for j00~!") and Wave Race 64. I never played Blue Storm, but I heard good things about it, and WR64 was fun.
Day 24: The one awesome game idea that still hasn’t been done
Nothing at the top of my head, so how about more of an awesome game idea? More creepy dream exploration games (L.S.D. I'm talking official stuff, not just freeware) and lighthearted RPGs that poke fun of themselves (Mother series) please.
Day 25: The most hilarious game you’ve ever played
Earthbound of course. Also I Wanna Be the Guy! because of the twist it added to the Castlevania scene with Dracula. ;D
Day 26: A game you’ve left sitting at the final boss fight and still haven’t returned to
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, but I don't like it so I don't care, haha~ ♥ So I'll go with Startropics. Talk about a difficulty spike! The final level in the spaceship is haaaaaaaaaard. D:
Day 27: A game that you wish you could play, but suck at
Classic Megaman. I beat several of the bosses in MM2 (or was it MM1?), but ugh, it's so frustrating to play. My fingers were feeling it. D:
