Let's get back in the groove with a meme I ganked from Scribbler~

Post an excerpt from One fanfic project from each of your current fandoms.

Tonio flinched as the baron grabbed his shoulders and slammed him to the wall, half-expecting to be shaken or strangled. Fuchsia eyes bore into him with resentment and there was more adrenaline acting in the scientist's nerves than endorphins. An awkward pause took place between the baron's glare and his own startled puzzlement. Figuring that it would be better to get it over with as soon as possible, Alberto pressed his lips over the scientist's, swallowing him like a dose of cough syrup.

Tonio didn't know how to react. He could feel the other's lips pull away fast and he had no idea what happened in the few seconds that transpired. The baron's disgust was imminent. But the baron never gave up. He took a deep breath and covered his mouth with the scientist's again, pressing harder than he had the first time. Alberto held himself responsible for doing the job in full, and he fastened his hand to the back of Tonio's neck to prevent himself from retching and letting go.

Tonio winced from the forcefulness, and he knew his own actions were mild compared to the baron's. The scholar had his own distaste from their current predicament. Still he received the baron's onslaught of kisses, and he tilted his head for the other to be granted passage. The scientist laid a hand on Alberto's cheek, before he slipped his arms around the baron's back for balance. They stopped for a moment to exchange an indifferent sigh. Alberto didn't--wouldn't--look him in the eye before returning the kiss, prying into the scholar's mouth with his tongue.

--Alberto/Tonio for wtf27. Prompt: "Fuck or Die." No really.

9 was wrong and right. They saved 2 and they didn't. 9 was responsible for 2's liberation... in more ways than intended. Yet in his fright, 5 couldn't bring himself to be angry with 9. After all, 9 didn't mean it. In the short time they spent together making the journey to the Machine's headquarters, he knew 9 had nothing but good intentions, and he was determined to save the rag doll who was the first to be kind to him and give him a voice. 2 was that sort of being to be like that in a world dead and full of hungry Beasts.

2 was the sort of being who risked explosions and bullets to carry 5 to safety.

It wasn't like the effort was a total waste, was it? 1 would certainly think so. He would pounce on the chance to chastise them both, especially 9 by proving to him that the mission was a hopeless failure. But they found 7 and the twins. They found (or rather 9 found) clues relating to the pattern ingrained in 6's sketches. But what did it mean? 5 was much too afraid to face 1 again. But 9 was adamant and they would go when they were ready. They'd gotten this far, hadn't they?

I knew you'd come.

5 brushed his fingers over the skin graft where his eye used to be.

--Some 9/5 fic I started after seeing the movie opening day. <.<;;;

It was the most isolated room in all her dreams. Why else would her unconscious set a barrier around it followed by a murky, soggy (and smelly) room? It was dark as dust as Madotsuki made her way past the slimy lockers and drippy pipes, and the empty hole was the only place for her to go. Madotsuki closed her eyes and images of the neon metropolis and the blinking creatures illuminated her thoughts. Without light, the rainbow didn't exist. Madotsuki approached the dead door and all the colors, including the dull turquoise and flakes of rust, turned to shadow. Night never had color because there is no light. Did it mean that colors weren't real? Was her sweater white instead of pink? Her skirt black instead of red? Was she no different from the two girls in the monochrome desert, who were isolated from the light?

Space had and had no color. The stars were like lights in their own ways. The planets had color. What about them? Earth was blue, brown, green and white. Earth had life and rainbows by being close enough to the light without being burned alive. Mars was supposed to be cold, farther from the light. If Martians existed, would they know that Mars is red? Is there only enough light for Martians to perceive their planet's dusty chalk maroon? What if Mars was soaked in blood? That would explain all the red. Was this the same world that horrid thing--Uboa--trapped her in? There had to be a planet like this somewhere. Madotsuki was certain of this. What happened to the aliens? Did they die after losing their sense of blood on Mars? Were they chased away by people trying to get away from Earth and other planets? Did people live on Mars and escaped to Earth after Mars had dried up?
