Anyone is welcome to join in, even if you and I don't usually agree on pairings or hang out in the same circles. I'd like that, actually, to get a bit of variety going. Please don't feel shy or unwanted around here. ♥
Please link to the author's work (you don't have to stick to any of the major archives, anywhere is fine), include relevant information if possible (pairing, author, maybe any non-work-safe ratings if you feel up to it), and there is no time limit, this post will stand for as long as LJ is around.

Need by Zarla (Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga) (Peasley/Luigi) (PG) Of course, Zar wins the entire Internet. ;D If her adorable art doesn't win you over, this will~ ♥
Lean On Me by MissXeli (SEGASonic) (Implied Sonic/Shadow) (PG-13) I'm sad this'll never be finished. D: Still, I really like the characterization in this, and it's an interesting idea. :)
The Last Day Alive by A. Fleury (SatAM) (Sonic/Sally) (NC-17) No lemon has EVER brought me close to crying as this one has. Make sure the kids are gone, and grab a Kleenix box.
2. Silk Shackle by JadeDixon (Chrono Trigger) (Schala) (PG) I've always liked Schala. So finding this was a real treat--it's the best piece I've ever read about her, and explores her character with a poignancy that's just waaaaah. *_____*
I Cry Rivers by ImagenAshyun (Star Fox) (Peppy Hare) (PG-13) What happened to Peppy and James at Venom is a topic poked a lot in Starfoxdom, but this definitely hits the nail on the head for me. The mastery of 1st-Person just gets to me too, like I really am sitting in Peppy's lap listening to his story.
The Legacy of Meta Knight by The Great NeoDragon (Hoshi no Kirby) (Meta Knight) (PG-13) To recommend the Great Neodragon will also mean recommending Shades of Grey (PG-13) and Crimson Rain (R). But since more people are familiar with the games and that CR fits in with LoMK, best to pick this one first. Basically everything I love about Meta Knight in a nutshell. :33
Bedtime story by ScottyCF (SEGASonic) (Shadow & Maria) (G) Shadow's an adorable baby hedgehog, and Maria reads him "Stone Soup"--while between ingredients, he runs and cooks some himself. Cue Puri dying of unsaturated cute and fluff.
Consciousness by Giampi (Earthbound/Mother 2) (Flying Man) (PG) Magicant is my favorite part in the game, and I adore the Flying Man to DEATH. So seeing this delightful piece that explores him like that makes me wibble in happiness.
