Thank you so much for offering to write a fanfic for me! ;; I appreciate everything that you do and all of your hard work. I'm sorry I took so long to get my letter ready, but I wanted to give you as much information and inspiration as possible for a smooth Yuletide sailing. That said, let's cut to the chase!

Ships: Mettaton/Papyrus, Frisk/Asriel, Undyne/Alphys, Sans/Chara
This game is the best thing that's happened to me in a long time. ;; I love everybody in this game. Yes, even Flowey. And Chara is as fascinating as they are disturbing. So don't feel limited to the character tags! Anything building up on the lore and meta of this game will have me rolling down a hill of happiness.
Important: Please refer to Frisk and Chara with "they/them" pronouns, as they are canonically non-binary and it would make me uncomfortable to see them gendered as either boy or girl. Thanks!
- I'm surprised there wasn't a neutral ending where Temmie became the leader of all monsters. How would such a thing happen? Are the Temmies actually cohorts of the Annoying Dog/Pomeranian of the crack neutral ending we did get? Hell, let's go into the origins of the Temmies. Were they experiments-gone-wrong created by W.D. Gaster? I'm guessing that the Temmies must've been Gaster's creations, since the monsters always acted like the Temmies were there, and Gaster got wiped out of existence... Or hell, Temmies invade the surface world. Temmiepocalypse. Do they come close to taking over the world, only to be stopped because some of them have allergies to humans, aka War of the Worlds?
- Sans & Papyrus are similtaneously the funniest and most tragic characters in the game. Everything about their relationship either warms my heart or makes me cry or both. Any h/c between those two, like Sans cheering up his brother when he's feeling lonely or Papyrus hugging Sans when he's miserable due to resetting shenanigans will make me shed waterfalls. "Sans-dies-and-Papyrus-takes-his-place-in-Genocide-run" AUs? YES. PLEASE. BREAK MY HEART. Alternately, give me Papyrus grumbling over crosswords and brainstorming puzzles and cooking spaghetti (maybe Sans gets sick and Papyrus tries making a weird spaghetti/chicken soup mix to make him feel better?) and godawful puns. Maybe a silly Frozen AU (Elsa!Sans shrugs and is too lazy to build an ice castle, Anna!Papyrus dashes off to find him with Kristoff!Frisk while Hans!Chara waits in the wings?) Or Papyrus taking Sans on a ride in his new car in the surface world. ;;
- Once I saw a fanart of Muffet having a tea party with Frisk and Papyrus. What would happen if Papyrus tried to be friends with Muffet? How would she interact with other characters who aren't Frisk or Chara? She mentioned wanting to tie up Alphys in the Genocide route... what did she mean by that? Does she know the truth of Alphys' previous experiments with Gaster?
- I blame tumblr for Mettaton/Papyrus (aka "Papyton"), 'cause now I ship it hardcore. I love the idea of two characters with Awesome Egos who fall for each other for their hidden depths of sincerity. ;; And Papyrus is so innocent while Mettaton is so... naughty. :P I'm all up for fic where Papyrus shows up on Mettaton's show, accompanies Mettaton while he's being fixed by Alphys, or the two of them going on a shopping spree as part of their "date." For Yuleporn, I can see Papyrus building himself up as an absolute expert on "all matters of love-making!!!" while actually having no idea what he's doing and feeling nervous, while Mettaton coquettishly guides him and helps him out. I have a bunch of cute stuff on my OTP tag for them on tumblr ("otp: glam spaghetti") if you want more inspiration. :)
- Frisk and Asriel, omg. ;; Friendship or shippy, just... GIMME. Post-True Ending, does Frisk climb back Mt. Ebott to put Flowey in a jar and raise him? Do they ever find a way to create a soul to bring back Asriel? If they're successful, how does Asriel adjust to being able to live like a kid again? Does Frisk show him around the surface world? What will their lives be like as adults in an integrated monster/human society? What happens when they realize they have feelings for each other? (Which would be awkward whether or not Frisk decided to live with Toriel, even if they and Asriel aren't related. Hoo boy...)
For Crueltide, you can wrench my heart into pieces by going the Post-Genocide-Pacifist ending route. Are Frisk and Asriel aware that they're caught in an unending timeloop like Sans? I imagine Frisk must be terrified that Chara has the power to yank control of their mind at anytime, much like Asriel is helpless against transforming back into Flowey. With each reset, do Frisk and Asriel age while everyone else (sans Sans) stays the same? Cue the opportunity for weepy comfortsex over Chara's flowery grave. Like with Papyton, I have a shipping tag ("otp: until the next reset") for them too. :3
- Sans & Chara fic. Not Frisk. Chara. Maybe Sans starts to get wind of another person besides Frisk, that a different human may show up at the gate looking exactly like the other. How will he know if it's Frisk or if it's that... other child? Could that child be swayed from killing or do they only stop due to Frisk regaining control? Could Frisk actually be cruel or is it Chara's influence? Cue Chara jumping on the chance to play mindgames with Sans. What if, due to Sans' medium awareness and how difficult battling him is, he is the reason Chara keeps resetting because they can't predict him, making them "interested" enough to keep coming back? Does their obsession with each other twist back into a nasty addiction, like Batman and the Joker? Nothing cute and fluffy here; I'm all about the dysfunctional antagonism between those two. For Yuleporn: At the golden corridor, Sans finally snaps and lunges himself at Chara. Chara snarls and curses and fights with equal spite. All the non-con and hatesex plz.
- Something exploring Sans and Toriel's relationship via them exchanging jokes at the door. If going the shippy route, Sans as Frisk's new dad would make me a happy panda; I only ask that you please don't bash Asgore, and that he be allowed to visit and hang out with Frisk and the gang for cute happy extended family times.
- Undyne and Alphys curling up on the couch to watch anime, which could lead to cuddling & kissing (and if you're going with Yuleporn, something more. *cough*)
Inside Out
Ships: Disgust/Fear(/Anger), Joy/Sadness
This is honestly my favorite Pixar movie since WALL-E. Hell, I might like it even better than WALL-E, but time will tell. It's clear a TON of research was put into this film; everything is so creative, yet it meshes perfectly with our current understanding of human psychology. I love that the negative emotions--especially Sadness--are treated as important to one's well-being. I love that the emotions all care about Riley in their own ways, and how serious subjects like depression are brought up and explored without being grim-dark. I already knew the spoilers and I still cried watching it in theaters, it's that powerful.
- Riley discovers fandom, then fanfiction. Would she be into boyband slash or Hockey RPF? How does she go through the ups and downs of shipwars and tumblr drama? I want to see the emotions react to that, going from the best fic in the universe to a legendary badfic like My Immortal or something infamous such as the Care Bears slave fic from one of the past Yuletides. Does Riley write fanfiction herself or does she get frustrated from the effort? I'd prefer no graphic sex for this fandom, but considering the subject matter of my prompt, I'll be a-okay with Riley and the emotions reacting to smutfic as long as it stays PG-13 teenage confusion/exploration of "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret"/"Then Again, Maybe I Won't" levels.
- I picked "Disgust" from the character tags, mainly because I'm curious about her. She's so sassy and funny, and I'd love to see more of her impact on Riley's life aside from refusing brocolli. I'd also be interested in reading about her relationships with the other emotions, like Joy or Anger. Two ad-libbed lines by Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling that were left out in the final cut got me shipping Disgust/Fear ("I've always loved you!" "Ugh, I know."), so some interaction between them (ex. Disgust talking to Fear after Riley watched a schlocky gorefest movie) whether romance happens or not would be nice. I'm also up for Joy/Sadness fluff (ex. sharing memories about Bing-Bong so he's not truly forgotten), be it friendship or romantic. :)
Mother : EarthBound Zero
Ships: Ninten/Ana, Ninten/Loid, Teddy/Loid, Pippi/Loid
Look at those adorable children. Listen to that gorgeous music. That song is the Eight Melodies, and it drives the entire plot of this game. Mother/Earthbound Zero is the first game of my favorite video game franchise ever, introducing many of the things I love about this series: wonderful characters, a quirky sense of humor, an RPG in a modern-day setting, AWESOME soundtrack, and above all, a lot of heart. And feels. ALL the feels. ;; Now it's finally released to America as "Earthbound Beginnings," and I'm cheering as more fans are born~
- All the world-building for this game, all of iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! But I'm particularly interested in Magicant, Spokane, and Mt. Itoi. Maybe Ellay too. What is it like for Ninten to visit those places? What's the backstory of the Rosemary Mansion? How do Loid, Ana and Teddy react when Ninten takes them to see Magicant and Queen Mary? What was it like for them to work with the Flying Men and how their deaths impacted the main cast? I imagine that Ninten loved Queen Mary and would sometimes come back to keep her company, telling her all about his adventures so far, introducing her to his friends, and telling her about the latest melody he found to cheer her up. Could you imagine how much it would devastate him to lose her, especially after finding out her true identity? Hell, how about Ninten, Loid and Ana's friendship with EVE, only for her to sacrifice herself in the end? Ninten, to me, seems like the most optimistic of the Mother series heroes, so of course he'd keep getting punched in the gut like this. :( Maybe at one point near the end, he finally hits a BSOD and Loid and Ana encourage him to keep going and that they'll make it? The game's motto is "No crying until the ending" after all...
- Poor Teddy. Muscular dudes with huge pomps aren't the most popular in fandom. But I like Teddy! And I'd like fic of him! So I want to see a fic that goes into his past in more detail, how he became a leader, and most importantly, how he changed from being a brutal gang leader who thought power was everything to someone who was willing to lay his life to protect his new friends, acknowledged his mistakes, and realized that strength alone didn't come from muscles. I'd also be interested in post-game fic where he adjusts to his new life as a singer at the Live House. Does he encourage the rest of the Bla-Bla Gang to do the same and start their lives anew? And of course, anything exploring the dynamic between Teddy and Loid (The former initially dismissing the latter as a weakling before coming to respect him) is good too. :o
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Ships: Grovyle/Celebi, Dusknoir/Grovyle, Dusknoir/Grovyle/Celebi
The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is everything I could possibly want in Pokemon games and Explorers of Sky is the magic shell on top of a delicious scoop of cookie dough ice cream. I got incredibly invested in the characters of that game, but especially of Grovyle, Dusknoir, and Celebi. When I saw all three were nominated this year? I jumped for joy and knew immediately I had to sign up for this fandom. Forgive me if my memories on the game are spotty, since it's been a long time since I last played it. But goddamn, when I see love for Grovyle, Celebi, and Dusknoir, I cannot pass it up.
- Grovyle/Celebi, Dusknoir/Grovyle, or Dusknoir and Celebi sharing Grovyle in an OT3, YES PLEASE. I've loved Grovyle/Celebi since Celebi implied having a crush on him, fell for Dusknoir/Grovyle when I saw this official art of them (go figure, my Enemy Mine fangirlism went off the charts), and when all three of them worked together to stop Primal Dialga... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You don't need to ship any of them romantically, I'm up for ANY sort of interaction between the three. How did Groyvle (and in extension, the Player character) and Celebi first meet up with each other and agree to save the future? How many times has Dusknoir caught Grovyle and/or Celebi and they managed to escape? While working together for the first time, how does one nurse the other if they get injured? How do Grovyle and Celebi help Dusknoir adjust post-game after the future is saved? Do Dusknoir and Celebi take the chance to get to know each other better? Feel free to throw in Pokemon post-Gen 4 onward. What does Grovyle think of the idea of evolution, let alone Mega Evolution? Would that have thrown a wrench in his plans, or would he think that would slow him down? All I ask is if you're writing post-ending fic to not warp Dusknoir back into being evil, as I believe that will undo all his character development.
Super Mario Galaxy
Ships: Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Rosalina/Geno
Ahh, Super Mario Galaxy. What a fun and gorgeous game! But what really got to me was Rosalina. I loved listening to her stories so much! Her backstory is so sweet and poignant, especially with the Lumas doing their best to make their new "Mama" happy after Rosalina lost hers. It must be hard on Rosalina, knowing that everyone--including her mother--ages much faster on Earth than aboard her spaceship. Learning that her character and her storybook were inspired by one of my favorite books, The Little Prince, struck another chord in me. Maybe you can share more adventures of Rosalina when she's younger or older, told in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's style? Do Rosalina and Luma celebrate any holidays, and do they have a day where they remember Rosalina's mother? Nothing too dark for this fandom, please. I want Galaxyfic to be as gentle as Rosalina's stories to the Lumas.
For those who have played Super Mario RPG and/or the first Paper Mario: Are the Lumas a different race from the Star Kids/Star Spirits? Has Geno ever met Rosalina? Does he regard her as a friend or mentor or look up to her in some way? Does Twink ever meet Rosalina and does he tell her about his friendship with Princess Peach? Does she give him some pointers and train him in magic?

- I picked "Disgust" from the character tags, mainly because I'm curious about her. She's so sassy and funny, and I'd love to see more of her impact on Riley's life aside from refusing brocolli. I'd also be interested in reading about her relationships with the other emotions, like Joy or Anger. Two ad-libbed lines by Bill Hader and Mindy Kaling that were left out in the final cut got me shipping Disgust/Fear ("I've always loved you!" "Ugh, I know."), so some interaction between them (ex. Disgust talking to Fear after Riley watched a schlocky gorefest movie) whether romance happens or not would be nice. I'm also up for Joy/Sadness fluff (ex. sharing memories about Bing-Bong so he's not truly forgotten), be it friendship or romantic. :)
Mother : EarthBound Zero
Ships: Ninten/Ana, Ninten/Loid, Teddy/Loid, Pippi/Loid
Look at those adorable children. Listen to that gorgeous music. That song is the Eight Melodies, and it drives the entire plot of this game. Mother/Earthbound Zero is the first game of my favorite video game franchise ever, introducing many of the things I love about this series: wonderful characters, a quirky sense of humor, an RPG in a modern-day setting, AWESOME soundtrack, and above all, a lot of heart. And feels. ALL the feels. ;; Now it's finally released to America as "Earthbound Beginnings," and I'm cheering as more fans are born~
- All the world-building for this game, all of iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit! But I'm particularly interested in Magicant, Spokane, and Mt. Itoi. Maybe Ellay too. What is it like for Ninten to visit those places? What's the backstory of the Rosemary Mansion? How do Loid, Ana and Teddy react when Ninten takes them to see Magicant and Queen Mary? What was it like for them to work with the Flying Men and how their deaths impacted the main cast? I imagine that Ninten loved Queen Mary and would sometimes come back to keep her company, telling her all about his adventures so far, introducing her to his friends, and telling her about the latest melody he found to cheer her up. Could you imagine how much it would devastate him to lose her, especially after finding out her true identity? Hell, how about Ninten, Loid and Ana's friendship with EVE, only for her to sacrifice herself in the end? Ninten, to me, seems like the most optimistic of the Mother series heroes, so of course he'd keep getting punched in the gut like this. :( Maybe at one point near the end, he finally hits a BSOD and Loid and Ana encourage him to keep going and that they'll make it? The game's motto is "No crying until the ending" after all...
- Poor Teddy. Muscular dudes with huge pomps aren't the most popular in fandom. But I like Teddy! And I'd like fic of him! So I want to see a fic that goes into his past in more detail, how he became a leader, and most importantly, how he changed from being a brutal gang leader who thought power was everything to someone who was willing to lay his life to protect his new friends, acknowledged his mistakes, and realized that strength alone didn't come from muscles. I'd also be interested in post-game fic where he adjusts to his new life as a singer at the Live House. Does he encourage the rest of the Bla-Bla Gang to do the same and start their lives anew? And of course, anything exploring the dynamic between Teddy and Loid (The former initially dismissing the latter as a weakling before coming to respect him) is good too. :o
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon
Ships: Grovyle/Celebi, Dusknoir/Grovyle, Dusknoir/Grovyle/Celebi
The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series is everything I could possibly want in Pokemon games and Explorers of Sky is the magic shell on top of a delicious scoop of cookie dough ice cream. I got incredibly invested in the characters of that game, but especially of Grovyle, Dusknoir, and Celebi. When I saw all three were nominated this year? I jumped for joy and knew immediately I had to sign up for this fandom. Forgive me if my memories on the game are spotty, since it's been a long time since I last played it. But goddamn, when I see love for Grovyle, Celebi, and Dusknoir, I cannot pass it up.
- Grovyle/Celebi, Dusknoir/Grovyle, or Dusknoir and Celebi sharing Grovyle in an OT3, YES PLEASE. I've loved Grovyle/Celebi since Celebi implied having a crush on him, fell for Dusknoir/Grovyle when I saw this official art of them (go figure, my Enemy Mine fangirlism went off the charts), and when all three of them worked together to stop Primal Dialga... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! You don't need to ship any of them romantically, I'm up for ANY sort of interaction between the three. How did Groyvle (and in extension, the Player character) and Celebi first meet up with each other and agree to save the future? How many times has Dusknoir caught Grovyle and/or Celebi and they managed to escape? While working together for the first time, how does one nurse the other if they get injured? How do Grovyle and Celebi help Dusknoir adjust post-game after the future is saved? Do Dusknoir and Celebi take the chance to get to know each other better? Feel free to throw in Pokemon post-Gen 4 onward. What does Grovyle think of the idea of evolution, let alone Mega Evolution? Would that have thrown a wrench in his plans, or would he think that would slow him down? All I ask is if you're writing post-ending fic to not warp Dusknoir back into being evil, as I believe that will undo all his character development.
Super Mario Galaxy
Ships: Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Rosalina/Geno
Ahh, Super Mario Galaxy. What a fun and gorgeous game! But what really got to me was Rosalina. I loved listening to her stories so much! Her backstory is so sweet and poignant, especially with the Lumas doing their best to make their new "Mama" happy after Rosalina lost hers. It must be hard on Rosalina, knowing that everyone--including her mother--ages much faster on Earth than aboard her spaceship. Learning that her character and her storybook were inspired by one of my favorite books, The Little Prince, struck another chord in me. Maybe you can share more adventures of Rosalina when she's younger or older, told in Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's style? Do Rosalina and Luma celebrate any holidays, and do they have a day where they remember Rosalina's mother? Nothing too dark for this fandom, please. I want Galaxyfic to be as gentle as Rosalina's stories to the Lumas.
For those who have played Super Mario RPG and/or the first Paper Mario: Are the Lumas a different race from the Star Kids/Star Spirits? Has Geno ever met Rosalina? Does he regard her as a friend or mentor or look up to her in some way? Does Twink ever meet Rosalina and does he tell her about his friendship with Princess Peach? Does she give him some pointers and train him in magic?
