The Neverending Story is officially one of my new favorite movies, and I regret not seeing it as a child. I want a nice fuzzy Falcor of my own. I almost never have crushes, so it's notable I fell insta-love with Atreyu. Atreyu is so pretty. ;;
I'm surprised how early Artax's death was. I knew about it from the Nostalgia Critic's Top 11 Saddest Moments video, but actually watching it is gut-wrenching. Like, I feel just as distressed watching it like if I hadn't known about it beforehand, it's that powerful. Uggggh. DDD:
I watched the movie on Livestream, and someone else in chat who's never seen the movie before would occasionally say, "I hope Bastian sics Falcor on the bullies. That would be awesome." Then just that happened at the ending, and the chatroom erupted in cheers. ;D Don't you love it when something like that happens? The only other movie I can think of where I often made an off-hand joke that actually came true was with "Sunshine." :o The climax reminded me so much of Earthbound, omg.
*weeps forever because iconzicons is dead and she can't see all the icons they made for that movie*
