So, my
2010 Resolutions were largely a success. I did in fact work out on a regular basis, I removed a lot of internet marathons, and I ate more balanced meals. I did NOT keep up with Spanish :(!!!, use discretion on Facebook (haha, I failed hard at that), wake up before noon every day, or exercise before showering. Oh well. Amit has told me to stop thinking of my actions in terms of success vs. failure, but it's hard not to.
My Resolutions for 2011!!
1. More schoolwork, less “party” (especially substance-related).
2. More quality time with friends. :)
2b. Go out of my way to make more new friends, in my new dorm and in my new classes. I've started to take my current friends for granted and avoided new ones, which is ridiculous. College is the best time for friends.
3. Less potty mouth. Stop saying “fuck” all the time!
4. Gain weight by eating well. I lost about ten pounds this year, which isn't healthy for someone of my BMI.
5. Exercise at least once per week. So good for my attitude and body!
6. Pack lighter than before. I always regret over-packing.
7. Stop seeking out conflict and when it does happen, don’t draw it out with inflammatory remarks. Let it end quickly and don't get so angry.
8. Don’t give in to peer pressure when I have actual stuff to do.
9. Relax more often, with pleasures just for me.
10. Keep up the Spanish and Japanese. Use it or lose it and I worked so hard to get it.
Any advice? I'd like to hear your resolutions. :D
