Quote poems and other crap you should really Read
"To be or not to be, that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them?."
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark, by Shakespeare
"The dread of something after death, -
The undiscover'd country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns, - puzzles the will
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
than fly to others we know not of"
Hamlet, Prince of Denmark
He is not held back by concern for others or by fear, but by the unknown
"I am so depressed tonight, O God.
I feel as if I am the sole target
of an enemy barrage -
that all the demons of hell are bent
upon damning my soul for eternity.
Consume, O God, these demons that depress,
these enemies that plague my soul.
May the whirlwind of Your Spirit
sweep them out of my life forever.
May I awaken with a heart full of joy,
and with the strength and the courage
to walk straight and secure
in the dangerous
and difficult paths before me."
Psalm 83
To be:
"Suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune"? (Hamlet) Think on this:
First, get real. Nobody can sort life's problems by themselves. Since you, or your mob, are not doing so well on your own, find understanding, outside support.
Second, get really radical. Don't conform to pressures to think in a box - you could literally end up in one, stone cold dead.
Think beyond the flesh and mere physical death. You need to bury your old self and its pain, without risking your spirit for eternity. There is only one way to do this. (And it's not meditation or religious mumbo-jumbo.)
How can anybody understand?
What's all this about flesh and the spirit
Not to be:
"Take arms against a sea of troubles"? (Hamlet again) Think on this:
In suicide, you may succumb (surrender) to the very troubles you take arms against, for you cannot kill your eternal spirit. You change your location but not yourself or even your underlying problems.
Sartre (famous French philosopher) said "Hell is other people". He was wrong.
The most ancient book of wisdom in the world makes clear that hell is yourself in the absence of love. In killing yourself, you could plunge your eternal spirit into that loveless hell - forever.
The coward sneaks to death; the brave live on. -- Dr. George Sewell. >> he said this when he won the milion dollars WHAT THE FUCK DOES HE NO!
Death ends a life, not a relationship. -Jack Lemmon
