Lesson with Rachel

I think Barjor and I are having entirely too much fun re-visiting our musical youth! I think we probably would have gotten into entirely too much trouble if we'd known each other then But be prepared for other videos as I find them. The Mission UK, The Gift, sigh....

Okay - enough of that! I had a fabulous lesson with Rachel today! So fabulous this will be a short post because I am quite tired and just ate myself silly (meaning all the blood has left my brain and gone to my belly!)

Gale: running frame (of course.) Since I was one of the first guinea pigs, I missed some stuff which we now need to go back and re-visit.

Sizzle: handling drills and she was WONDERFUL. Also worked some single jump rear cross drills which Sizzle then integrated seamlessly into a longer jumping drill. Yay!

Kat: Jump work and she's not bad at all according to Rachel. I think Steph just wanted to scare me into training She also did Rachel's full height dog walk (see wood run) with style and panache! And ran it like the wind. Yippee!!

I have some jumping drills I need to set up for Ms. Kat but Rachel is pretty positive that she just needs more experience. Did I mention I am a seriously lazy trainer? No really. I am. Just ask Mia. Kat has done very little jumping so now it's time to do more. I feel so incredibly privileged at this exact moment: I drove 120 miles North and I train with Rachel Sanders and then I drive 140 miles South and train with Stephanie Spyr. Guess I can't be a lazy trainer anymore - these two ladies won't let me!
