So, I know I haven't written in a while but something sparked my interest today. I heard someone say that if you have fear, you have no faith. Now, for me, this is completely false and slightly annoys me on a couple levels. Now, I have had my fair share of things to be afraid of and am sure there's plenty more to come in my life. I think fear is what gives some people faith. You're afraid of what's to come and so you place you trust in something bigger than yourself and hope for the best which I suppose is one way of having some kind of faith. But fear is also just part of human nature. It drives people to do amazing things, sometimes. Other times it prevents them from doing terrible things. I think one of my favorite quotes would have to be "Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather it's acknowledging the fear and facing it anyway". I guess it bothered me because I find fear essential to who I have become.
This is disorganized but then again when has anything I've posted been organized?
