Warning big political rant
OK I'm not a Racist. My friends already know this, but since I don't friend lock my journal I don't want some hippie fuckin' idiot posting mad shit about me when they don't even know me or my beliefs.
Anywho here's my big rant on illegal immigrants (not legal ones because my granparents can LEGALLY from Poland, America is a big melting pot, etc.)
Unfortunately people we DO NOT live in a world full of sunshine and rainbows and brotherly love and all that. There are people who are murderers, rapist, child molesters, terrorist, drug runners, and drug dealers. The most notorious one that comes to my mind is Rafael Remirez. If you don't remember him he was an illegal immigrant that crossed the border, then killed and robbed nine people. It was hard to track him down because every time the feds tried to catch him he would just hop the border back to Mexico.
I'm not saying deport all these people that are already here either. Eventually make them legal and give them backround checks in the meantime to make sure that they aren't dangerous. Probably 90% of the people who are here illegally are good hard working people, but that does not mean we should let everyone in. Even that 10% or less (how small it might be) is still a threat not just to national security but to everyday people just trying to live their lives in peace.
I guess my point is secure both our border with Mexico and Canada (even though I don't know why Canadians would want to move here. Their dollar is almost the same as ours now, they get free health care, and George Bush isn't in charge of their country) Also make the hard working illegal immigrants legal and weed out the bad people as few as they maybe. America has enough criminals we don't need ones form other countries.
In addition, did you know that Mexico has a closed border to immigrants to their country. And if you do go through their process and become a citizen they can still deport you for no reason at all.
Also I'm for making illegal immigrants legal. Because if you're illegal you get free health care(because hospitals can't track you down and make you pay your bill) and social services (don't ask me how that works) But make them legal so they know being American means praying to God you have a job that provides Health insurance and you're pretty much on your own because this country doesn't give a shit about it's own people. Show them that the government only slightly cares about you until you stop paying your taxes.
And there's a bunch more stuff........but I don't feel like getting into it right now. I have a major case of the munches......
