I remember when I considered having to get up for an 8:00 AM class to be the equivalent of being dragged through shards of glass. It hurt to get up that "early" and have to actually think and reason.
Then I got a job a courier. All of a sudden I had to be available for work at 6:30 in the morning in Charlotte. I lived in Concord, which from where we were was about 30-40 minutes of a drive if you recall.
Its all about perspective I guess, since I learned to miss those days when I could sleep in to make my 8:00 AM class.
...and of course when we move you'll be a lot closer too. :)
I'm used to it by now... It's actually gotten better over the past two years from working at Food Dog and having to be there at 6:30am for 3 years straight to now a straight 8-4:30 shift with a nice hour lunch.
I actually only work 37.5 hours a week. SCORE!
Get used to it my dear it's called the "world of work" for a reason.
