Here's The Cabinet.

This was my first solid wood project.  I have shown the models and other mock ups in the past.  Due to the nature of wood when it expands with the weather I had to make alot of adjustments.  I never thought one project could teach you so much on how to accomplish such a task.
I was able to maintain the basic form with little adjustments.  The skirt that covers the casters had become part of the front and back panels.  The original design was a separate component.

Some visual design components were maintained; however, I had to change the grain pattern movement to keep the cabinet from blowing itself apart as the wood expands.

Also to prevent the cabinet from blowing itself apart I had to incorporate paneling instead of solid flat surface.  To be able to have a solid completely flat surface would of required me to do the whole cabinet in veneer.

The shelves inside are adjustable for needed space.  My cabinet is very useful and was successful.  If I had the chance to do it again, I know I could make it more sound.  This was a large step for me in woodworking, I look forward to putting my skills to work on the next projects.   This semester we will be working in teams until spring break.  We have been commissioned to make furniture for a special house project.  I will share that information later as we are already troubleshooting designs already.  I hope everyone enjoys the pics of the cabinet, that I made with my bare hands.
