Me writing... what a shocker!
So, I am writing on this J2 Vampire story... and here you go saying that in the half a dozen WIPs I already talked about before there was never a single word about vampires and you would be correct because I think I have attention deficit issues but whatever I am writing on a few others too. I am just a little shocked by myself that maybe for the first time I managed to take a plot of a bigger story and reduce in in a way that it is actually reduced! I mean if I don't go rampage in the last 2 scenes I can actually post this as a medium length oneshot and Booha!, that's rare with me. I knew I had to boil it all down to a few necessary scenes (5 to be exact) or I would never get to write this story. So this one will not have the long dramatic character and relationship development and build as my normal stuff... I'm not sure if that's a good thing but I'll let the readers decide about that.
Also now that the BB is done (btw, was that awesome or what?) I decided a few things. a) next years BB will not be close to 60k... It will be 20-30 and I'll keep my monster stories for normal posting because I hate long periods of not posting anything, it's against everything I want for my journal. b) I'll start posting a WIP soon, the one that has been on my master post as a teaser for AGES because I need the pressure to finish it and I know I will get it wrapped up quicker if I know you are breathing down my neck. I will not write it all and then post like I know half of you prefer, but it's killing me to have nothing to post and so much great stuff on my PC. I will still finish the shorter stories completely and then post because it's just nicer for the readers... shorter means 15-30k XD. Those include the sequels to my Agent!verse titled "Off Profile" and the sequel to Speed Limit called "Fast Track" plus some other fun stuff that is still in the making. Maybe if I could concentrate on just one story I'd be way faster... but I can't and stories like my BB would never have been started in the first place. I have 2 more projects of that dimension lined up (one half one), so there you go.
I know that this post doesn't really have any point but this: Tell me to get my ass back to writing so you get something to read soon (and I just typed this entry because I was writing on the hardest scene of that story and then work sent me an e-mail and all the muse was killed instantly but I hope after I'm done with this entry it has been resuscitated).
