Summary: ...“So we're doing awkward nicknames now? What should I call you then?”...
“It's aeroplane. Aeroplane.”
“Avo... pain!”
“Almost! That was really good. Once more...”
Jensen laughed, putting a hand on Jared's shoulder to get the man's attention. “Honey, he's not gonna get it perfectly. He's two. He's too young for the big words.”
“But he's so close.” Jared was pouting and for a moment it was unclear which of them was the two year old.
“And you've been playing with that Avopain for three hours now. The cupcakes are ready,” Jensen said holding out a cupcake with pink icing and colorful sprinkles on top.
Immediately the toddler on the floor jumped up, little hands outstretched to snatch the sweet treat. “Cupcake!” He grabbed it, giggling and running to his mother coming out of the kitchen with a tray of drinks and more cupcakes.
“That's unfair. He can say cupcake on the first try.” Jared set the toy airplane they had given Jensen's nephew on the living room table before unfolding himself from his perch on the floor to get up and join the other adults at the table.
“That's because he's been eating my cupcakes since he could chew. They're his favorite.” Jensen grabbed another one, this time with blue icing on top, and held it out with a cheeky grin. “I know you like them too, fly-boy.”
“Fly-boy?” Jared plucked the cupcake from Jensen's fingers with a raised eyebrow. “So we're doing awkward nicknames now? What should I call you then?”
Chuckling Jensen shrugged, snatching some of the icing off Jared's cupcake with quick fingers. “I don't know... give me your best shot.”
“Okay, cupcake.”
Jensen laughed, opening his mouth to shoot back when his brother cleared his throat loudly. “I'm not sure what is giving me worse wholes in my teeth: the cupcakes or you two being painfully cute all the time.”
Jared answered by making the whole cupcake disappear in his mouth at once making Jensen and the other guests laugh by making himself look like a hamster.
“You're such a dork!”
They kissed but ended up snorting with laughter when Jensen's nephew ran from the room with a loud “Ewwww!”
“You're right. He is to young for this,” Jared said with a grin before stealing a second kiss.
