-=Live Dates!=-
Occasionally, I perform live. Yeah, it's been known to happen. So far, I have 3 appearances coming up.
Feb 15-17, Farpoint Convention in Timonium MD (www.farpointcon.com)
March 1-3, Marscon in St. Paul MN (www.marscondementia.com)
March 9th, Eastern Shore Fan Con in MD Eastern Shore (www.easternshorefancon.com)
Also, in April, I'm appearing in a production of "Room Service" at The Vagabond Players in Fells Point, MD. If you're in the area for any of these shows, come on down!
-=Marscon!=-
Speaking of Marscon, this is my return to the twin cities for comedy musics biggest gathering of...comedy...musicians. Yeah, that.
Anyway, since there's gonna be a TON of us there (including GoH Flat 29, Mikey Mason, Max DeGroot, the great Luke Ski, Worm Quartet, Possible Oscar, and my pal TV's Kyle...which might mean a possible Scooter Picnic performance? yeah, maybe) we'll need to cover the hotel room costs of these artists. To do so, once again there's a fundraiser CD featuring live performances from the artists who appeared at Marscon last year! Head on over to www.marscondementia.com to pitch in and get some amazing comedy music in the process!
-=Logan Awards!=-
The 2012 Logan Awards are accepting open nominations! As we said before, Insane Ian released quite a lot of tracks, both solo and as Scooter Picnic, and anything released in 2012 is available for open nomination! Head on over to www.LoganAwards.com and nominate your favorites! Be sure to check the open nomination list to see what's already been nominated, putting in the same song won't increase it's chances, so try to request something that's not up yet if you'd like! Nominations end January 14th, and then the jurors choose 5 from each category for the final nominations! Final nominees are announced January 31st, and the awards ceremony will be at Marscon!
-=Releases!=-
If you haven't downloaded your copy of "Katy Parody" or "Songs For Superheroes", you can head over to
http://insaneian.bandcamp.com now to do that very thing! Also available there is the audio from "Grand Theft Audio"...and the DVD is, yes, still forthcoming. I swear it will be out...this year. Details soon.
Also, there might be other things too. New things. That'd be nice. Stay tuned.
That's all for now, friends! Thanks for sticking with your pal II in the new year, and be sure to "like" Insane Ian on Facebook (www.facebook.com/insaneianmusic) and follow him on Twitter (www.twitter.com/insaneianb) for all the as-it-happens news!
