(no subject)
Well, today [at school] wasn't very eventfull, so I won't write anything about that, lol.
But during Civics, I got signed out to go to my orthadontist. Oh my god. My mouth is horrible; much worse than I thought.
It turns out that I have 5 baby teeth instead of 2 or 3. I never lost them because of the way my adult teeth came in, they just never got loose. So now, the roots are becoming FUSED WITH MY BONE. How painful does that sound?
Also, the pointy teeth, they haven't come out either. The adult teeth are set in an angle, so if they came in, they would like be in the middle of my mouth >.< So what they have to do, is when I get braces [around the end of October], is they're going to attach a tiny chain to the next tooth once the baby one is removed. The chain will go up into my gum, and attach to my grown up tooth. Every month or so, I'll have to go back to my orthadonist, and they'll remove a link from the chain, causing the tooth to be pulled closer, until it finally comes in through where it's supposed to. Also, I have a strong lower jaw, which isn't bad, but it's been growing faster than my top jaw, o my bottom teeth have slanted backwards so that they can reach the top teeth. I don't know what they're going to do to that, but I know that they have to widen my top jaw with expanders. Plus, my teeth are overly crowded. So, I'll need braces too. And surgery, to get that chain in there. I have never had sugery before, or at least I don't remember, so I'm real scared. I'll also [most likely] have to wear headgear, but only at night. And there's more than that, but I don't remember. My mouth is a class C. >.< The highest it gets is D, but that's jaw surgery. And all this is being done around my birthday. Happy birthday to me.
So I went back to school after I was told all this, blah blah blah. So pretty much all day I felt really down, and nervous as hell.
When I got home, my dad came up to me and said "I heard you had a crappy day at your orthadontist. Well, I was going to give you this for your birthday, but I'll give it to you now to cheer you up." So he hands me this round pole thing, and when I unwrap it, it's a tapesty!! Not only that, BUT IT'S A ZELDA TAPESTRY. It has young Link all big, and then some other characters from Ocarina of Time behind him. It's so awesome. Dad said it was the last one there, they had to take it out of the display! So I hand Link next to my Legolas poster, hehe ^_^
And then Mandy and Tina came over to my house. We took a walk around the neighborhood, and just talked. We took pictures with my disposable, too ^_^ It was a lot of fun. I get to see how the pics came out tomorow =)
I'm glad that good stuff happened when I got home to get my mind off my mouth. =D
