Yeah, my bisexualish g/f was pretty pissed off about that too. It wasn't even really close. Arizona was closer to nominating Obama than it was to saying no to a gay marriage ban.
As overtly deceptive as many of the propositions were in their advertising though, that one wasn't too bad. It was billed as a "say YES to marriage!" thing, which is a little deceptive, but they didn't try to hide their "one man one woman" philosophy. I don't know if it's better or worse that the majority of people here voted for the ban knowingly instead of being duped into it.
I didn't know Arkansas had one on the ballot as well ... I'm sure my Dad voted for it, unfortunately....
Arkansas is evil. Seriously. At this point, my gf and I are considering moving to Canada. You guys wouldn't mind another American and Australian, huh?:>
