Well, then. The alliance guild I've been playing with finally imploded. Lots of drama there, most of which I thankfully missed completely. So I gquit today and went to play on Silver Hand instead. Caught eternityschild's hubby online who told me that their guild is trying to put together a group of regular raiders for when the expansion comes out. I think that might be what I'll do, then. I've a 60 warrior kicking around (transferred to Silver Hand from Eredar a couple months back) that I could use. Plus there will be shiny new characters to create and level. I already have the expansion pre-ordered. :)

For tonight, I rolled a new undead rogue for some mindless lowbie fun, which was exactly what I got. It was nice and relaxing.

Also played more SW:KOTOR II. I'm having the same basic issue with it as I did with the first one: inventory management is too confusing. And with craftable upgrades to various weapons and armor, I'm completely and utterly lost. I had to shut the game down for the night because I need to wait until I'm a bit more awake and/or can be bothered to write down what I've got, which character has it or will have it, and what upgrades I have or can craft and install. I fully appreciate the flexibility the system offers in terms of gameplay and power, but damn it's annoying. I hate overly extensive customization. (For this very reason games that advertise, for example, a hundred skills to choose from don't hold much appeal for me. I'm a dabbler. It's hard for me to pick a skill and focus on maxing it out to get some tangible results. If nothing else, clicking the same thing and getting the same marginal ability increase at every level is just plain boring. This is also why my character in wolfcat's d20 Modern game has six classes. I behave in a similar way in real life, too.)

Meh. I guess in KOTOR's case, it's not really extensive. But the organization is cluttered enough to make keeping track of things rather aggravating.
