in history class, our teacher was passing out these letters that he bought at a flea market from 1805. That's 200 years ago! the paper was really nice, obviously, because it was still in good condition after all this time. the handwriting was soooo perfect. and it was a guy's too. thats crazy. the writing was very romantic, and he had the craziest looking cursive "B" ever. and it pretty much made me want to live in the 19th century. i remember one part where he said something like, "you might wonder why i write to you so much, but with every letter i write, i am drawing you closer to me, and annihilating the space in between us."
