♥~! Thank you, glad it pleases! I was horribly worried with how the fic turned out, but I'd been doing so many minor edits to it the past few days I just decided to throw it out and be done with it.
It really was supposed to be just a Hibari and Mukuro fight scene etc., but Mukuro decided he wanted to have a bit of fun. Poor Dino. >:3 And gods yes, I think about Gokudera breaking down into Italian all the time. I couldn't not write it in when the opportunity presented itself.
S-someday I should actually watch the anime, just to hear Dera's voice, because man, having a general idea of what he might sound like speaking Italian? U-unf. *_____*
Oh man, I can't even sincerely recommend the anime for that. I really didn't like anyone's voice in the anime when I first watched it (save for Lambo's which was horrendously cute). I like Ryohei's, and Gokudera's eventually grew on me, but it wasn't what I was originally expecting. I still wish Tama's voice was a bit lower. Mukuro's is somewhat fitting, because his voice drops at all the right moments (ie. when he gets serious).
Buuut, if you even remotely like Squalo, Takahashi Hiroki (Eiji's seiyuu) as Squalo was so much ♥. Just hearing him go 'hooooi!' makes me fangirl a little bit inside each time. Lol. And listening to Coronello speak and say 'kora' at the end of his sentences. And 20YL!Lambo! I actually just downloaded the entire series, and then pretty much skipped most of the earlier episodes and watched the Viara arc. And ohgodsyes, I tend to babble about seiyuu. *shame*
Hahahahaha. xD I mean, I know Dino's voice didn't really work for me, but it's like that for most of the voices? (W-Well, Ryohei does have Oshitari's seiyuu, yeah.)
I. ohgod I love Varia so much. xD And was breaking my brain over the fact that he shared the same seiyuu as Eiji and Hisoka, yeah. xD) A-and oh that's right, 20YL!Lambo would have shown up, huh. |DDDD Dude, that is totally okay. I mean. PoT. Seiyuu galore, man.
His Ryohei voice is very different from Oshitari's, but still somewhat fitting his personality. He uses this somewhat medium-pitched gravely voice for Ryohei that is both dorky and extremely Ryohei-like. Hibari is nice to listen to, but I originally thought it was too low. They all do have a tendency to suddenly pitch their voices lower when they get serious though, which sort of makes up for it except not.
But oh man. You MUST watch the episode where Gokudera turns chibi (episode 39!), because that was so many amounts of cute. And Bel's seiyuu, whom I don't know but who was apparently in the PoT live action movie does such a perfect Bel, especially once he turns psychotic. A bit painful on the ears to listen to at times, but Bel nonetheless. lol.
Nice, nice. But hahaha, yeah, I definitely thought Hibari's voice was too low, in comparison to Kenta and KENN's voices for Dino. xD;
Hahaha oh man, they animated that chapter? xD! And Bel's seiyuu was... one of the Kamio-actors? I think. But that's good to know, that he pulled off Bel. I'd be sad if they didn't get a good Varia cast. >:
They did animate it and I just about died with the cute, it was so ridiculous. They also animated the chapter where child!Lambo was in adult!Lambo's body (ep.29). It was pure omgithinkiwilldiefromthehorror brilliance. Because they do make Tsuda Kenjiro do the voice acting for that episode and I was torn between laughing my head off and being completely mortified. I settled for something a bit in between.
Kamio actor, yes. I actually do think they did a good job on the Varia cast, more so than they did with the main characters. Squalo still so much win. <3

I've never finished Basara truth be told. Hard to finish hack and slash games like that, though I have finished story mode for most of the characters I like. Truth be told, I think I'm a gamer first and foremost. (I am known to drop everything for them. Heck, I was gone from LJ for 3 years because of it.) I find it kind of hilarious that I now can't play anything because of the current Reborn addiction. Must. Remedy. Soon.
