Hi Ho Hi Ho....
...its off to DC and NYC I go...
Although, its not so much *I* insomuch as clarkk and myself. He arrived last night via the Texas Eagle, and we're heading out tonight via the Capitol Limited:

Staying overnight in DC... photogeeking a bit in the Metro and around Dupont... and then jumping on the Acela to NYC for HOPE:
...and some general touristing/wondering around NYC for over a week. I've basically never been so it should be fairly amusing. I would wager that there will be pictures. (Still trying to decide which lenses to pack) Heh. And for notable advance warning, probably a lot of train pictures! :-D
Will be bringing new found Toy with me (HP2133 netbook finally after several days of recompiling and tweaking, successfully running Ubuntu Hardy Heron) so depending on WiFi coverage might be online from time to time. Hopefully it doesn't get hacked too badly at the conference! ;-D
