I LOVE THIS. There are so many little things about this that I love, but mostly that this is exactly how I want things to go.

Dean’s still about two-thirds asleep and honestly kind of smells like ass, but of course there’s a giant fucking hug. Of course.
This is PERFECT, and yeah, this is the first time Sam's really been Sam since before Hell, isn't it? Wow.

Guy came back twice in six months and disappeared about five minutes after that anew.

Actually, no - he didn’t disappear. That would’ve been better, the rush of wings and then nothing ever again, because Dean would’ve ached and hated it but Cas would’ve been alright. Cas could take care of himself, after all. No, Cas didn’t disappear.
I love this - bleak and hopeless and rings so very true. Your Dean voice is spot-on, btw.

Daphne really being Anna - I love this idea! I'd love it if that were true. And dysfunctional Team Free Will is reunited, but damn it, I'd really root for this team.

Anyway, this is basically canon for me, and I loved it :)

I guess Sam was Sam from when he got his soul back to when Cas broke his wall. But the whole time, things were so tense about that wall possibly breaking, that I really do feel like this is the first time Sam has been really and truly Sam since "Swan Song." Or at least, that both Sam and Dean can appreciate that Sam's back.

I'm really glad my Dean voice worked here. Normally I just make him pretty funny, but the guy is a million kinds of depressed, which is difficult to write, and his world is just getting bleaker and bleaker. Hopefully things get better for him, both on the show and in this little 'verse :)
