you make me nervous. today i lied about my psychiatric history repeatedly to a psychiatrist to get into a clinical trial for smoking cessation meds. now i worry that they'll find out somehow. or that i won't get a placebo and the meds will really make me psychotic. almost every question, lied. have you ever been diagnosed with a psych disorder? no (yes). have you ever been depressed, suicidal, taken psych meds, hospitalized for a psych disorder? no (yes, yes, yes, yes). after repeatedly responding no, he started skipping questions. finally he closed the book, smiled at me and said, i'm going to classify you as normal. maybe this was a bad idea.
