(no subject)
i just have to get this off my chest because its early, and my day has started off on a crummy note. maybe if i type it out, i will stop obsessing over the event that just occurred. lauren dropped me off at peets a little earlier than 830 this morning b/c she wanted to go on a 10 mile run and i thought it would be a great opportunity to get some work done. i arrived at peets and it was completely crowded. now mind you, i have no option to go anywhere else at this point, and my purpose of coming was to find a table and sit down. well i ordered my coffee, and as i was putting in my creamer, i noticed a table opening up, as i eyed the table, i also eyed another woman that eyed the table and decided to say something because to be quite frank, i needed the table more than she did. i have a computer to set up, im here for work, and i have no where else to go for a whopping 2 hours. well she walked away a little annoyed, and i took the table. on her way out, i must've really bothered her because she had the nerve to then say "for future, its first come first serve" as though she was the first person that saw this table and was going to sit there. she didn't even want to hear what i had to say as she walked out. so it was obvious that she wasn't even planning on STAYING here which makes me even more mad that she thought she had a right to the table over me. as i type this, not one table has opened up since i sat down , and that was 15 minutes ago. i can't help but be peeved by this interaction. oh well, i still got the table :)
