Things that happened:
> Friday: arriving and then public transportation pooped on us, so we had to call a cab back to campus, because we waited a frigging hour for a bus only to find when it arrived that it was at the end of its route -_-
> Miyazaki movie night in bb’s dorm hall. That was super fun! We watched Arrietty which I’d never seen before, then the first half of Totoro, but at 11 pm the projector stopped working properly, and all the people in the hall started being really obnoxious so we left. There was also sushi. Glorious sushi. @_@
> Bb’s roommate left like 2 hours after we showed up and didn’t come back all weekend, so having the room to ourselves was awesome.
> Saturday morning breakfast: omelet in the cafeteria. Glorious.
> Pride in Greensboro was a tiny dinky event compared to Charlotte Pride. But it was still super fun. A drum corps showed up! That was awesome and I recorded their whole 20 minute show.
> One of the snare drummers in the corps was a girl I knew from band in high school! A friend of mine had a huge crush on her throughout that time. She was pleased to see me, we chatted a little bit. :3
> Went back to relax for a bit. Sexiness in secret public places. That was fun.
> Went to a little art place and got myself some grey paper!!! and a left handed notebook!!! SO AWESOME. Bb played with my camera in there until an employee told him to cut it out LOL. I found him being talked to so I came up like ‘oh jeez, sorry, i was letting him play with it’. They weren’t really jerk-ish about it though, just wanted us to stop. And never post it online. So now we have ~super secret footage~ lol
> After that went to a frozen yogurt place, and you know what happened there, the shenanigans with that guy stealing my art etc. >:c jerk. He never did respond to my fb message, guess he knows he was guilty.
> That night we went to Boba House, the veggie restaurant. I had “eternal bliss” which was basically a stir fry with “shrimp”, and bb had the “tuna” which I have had before and which is suuuuper delicious. Not quite as delicious as I remember though, sadly. Also had tempura sweet potato [basically just fries], spring rolls and cheesecake. And an avocado “boba tea” [more like a boba smoothie] and it was SO DELICIOUS. I need to know how they make the avocado taste sorta sweet like that, so I can make some. Damn that was good. @w@
> Next day: today. Sorta lack of things left to do before 6:30, so we went to the cafeteria again for delicious breakfast. Idk about their supper, but their breakfast was great.
> Wandered around. I left bb one of my cameras [flip cam] so he can play with it and vlog and stuff. He took me to see all the interesting trees [ginkgo, a HUGE like 80 foot tall persimmon tree, this awesome gigantic magnolia tree that is perfect for hiding inside of and climbing around].
> We found an unlocked door in the theater and went in. The stage was pitch black deserted. Scary and cool. He took me allllll the way to the top, up to the ladder that led to the roof. I started to climb after him but the ladder sort of switched directions halfway up and I didn’t feel physically strong enough to climb all that way and be able to switch sides like that, and also climb back down, safely. So I chickened out basically lol :c But it was fun wandering around in the empty building, going through the labyrinthine hallways and underground passages and stuff. I felt very lost but bb knew the way. It was an adventure.
> Lunch: bojangles. Very tasty.
> Then went back to chill for a while, then packed up and went to the depot [the bus actually worked with us for once] and home I went.
> The lady I sat next to on the train was really nice. She gave me a little tiny pepsi to drink. I forgave her for reading 50 shades of grey. At least it wasn’t twilight.
Am I forgetting anything? I hope not.
As for work, all seems to be okay. I'll find out more tomorrow. As usual I whipped myself up into a terrific panic over nothing much. /sigh. I guess feeling stupid is better than being fired.
