I'm Not the One that's Crazy.

Last night was far out.

I went to a party to meet up with friends and mingle with new cats, some of whom were pretty cool. Athena got tired and left, but Maximilian said he could give me a ride home later so I continued to kick it with them.

The boys and I (Max, Sebastian/Seabass/Sebastard, Taylor) went on a beer run with Olivia, which was a failure. Although Santa Barbara is bigger than my sleepy beach town, things still close up at a decent hour and the convenience stores (rather inconveniently) stop selling alcohol at 2am, which it was.  The boys being well...the boys, decided that if they couldn't purchase alcohol they would take it, and thusly robbed Long's Drugs of a handle of rum and a 32 pack of beer.

In Max's garage we all made music, just freestyle jamming which I've come to love even more now that I've started participating. Usually Max plays guitar and sings, and then Sebastian will jump in and very rarely, so will Taylor. Last night was one of those rare nights where Taylor was drunk enough to sing, and when he dropped the ball...I don't know; I picked it back up.

I sang.

I sang about Taylor at first, where he left off in his song, and then I sang about Athena and her free-spiritedness and the way she makes everything so fun, like kids playing at a park and running through the shade of trees. When it ended they all seemed so proud and Taylor was grinning and said it was good, and Max urged me to sing again and started playing a slower rift, which got darker as my lyrics did. I poured my heart out last night and it felt really, really good.

After, they all gave me high-fives and now Max wants me to think about singing for him, or being the singer of a band he's looking to start. That is utterly ridiculous because I can't sing, but Olivia said that the message mattered more and my voice was actually fine. Huh.

We played Truth or Dare then, and at 7am we all passed out in Max's bed, cuddling and spooning (and some people snoring). It was a damn good night...I'd mention some of the dares I preformed, or the dares I gave others...but maybe that's best left unmentioned, haha.
