Summary: Kota locked himself to the world for 3 years and he even have times that he wanted to die already but he was always stopped by unexpected situation like fate didn't want him to die. After visiting a grieve, he accidentally met the most important person in his life which he thought was already dead. He treated it as an opportunity to fix what he have done wrong to him 3 years ago. But the real aftermath of the nightmare happened that years ago just began when the 5 members of Blazerz received a call stating that he knew everything that happened that night and he was planning to take revenge for the death of Sakura Minato.

-Chapter Fifteen-
That hugged made Kei realized that the feelings he have for Kota didn't vanished in that long expand of time. It maybe clouded when Kota did cruel things to him like being betrayed but the more he knew and the more he can prove that Kota really didn't meant what happened that night and he regret and he suffered for what he did his feelings was coming back and turning into crystal clear.
Denying will not do him good for he knew in his heart and his mind that strong and passionate feeling that he have for him. But he can't just barge in and tell him that he was besides he was afraid to be rejected and hurt again. Plus the situation they were in was not as simple as it was before. Kota knew that he have amnesia and his weird actions of kindness and gentleness maybe his way to repay for what he did but he was not sure if it was like that. He will not be sure unless Kota tell him what's really working on his mind. But he knew that Kota was not contacting his other members about him since even weeks have passed he was still safe and no one was bothering him at all. Knowing that, he can hold on the fact that at this point he can trust Kota but how long?
Unrequited love was really the most painful feeling you could ever feel in life. The fact that you love someone but it was never appreciated nor reciprocated can really hurt your confidence and sometimes your will and ego. That is what Kei felt when he was rejected by Kota when he first confessed to him but it is human's nature to stand up when they fall and he decided to do his best more for Kota to accept him. He always thought that Kota didn't like him and so he didn't know how he will going to interpret what he read on his lip that night of the murder. He was sure that it was the words of love but did he really mean it?
" Then… are you in love now? Is there someone that captivates you heart?" Kei tried to test Kota of what he was feeling that moment.
"I am not." Kota answered that just make Kei felt bad and disappointed. If ever Kota answered positively then he might think that he have hopes but then he answered no which means he can't see him as lovers like he used to years ago. Even years passed already he still don't have hopes for a mutual love.

Kota arrived at the place where he heard Aira was working. It was a traditional family restaurant where waiters wear yukata to serve their customers. They provide traditional dishes with westernize touch. He was nervous as he stands in front of that restaurant, he did some simulations on how he will going to approach Aira and how he will going to asked her about Sakura without spoiling about what was happening to him in the present. He need to be careful with his words and his everything that he will say or it means troubled not only to him but to the whole group.
As he opened the door he was welcomed by some of the beautiful waiters working in that place. He eyed them one by one, identifying if Aira was among them but she was not there. That's the time she asked the nearest waitress on his right side about her. Giving her the name and some minor description she instantly knew who he was talking about and she even volunteered to call at her at the dressing room since it's her break. Kota thanked that girl and look for a place to sit down and also ordered some beverage.
Few minutes later, he saw Aira approaching his table. She grown to be a pretty and tall lady and she looks mature compare the last time she saw her. "It's really you Kou…" Aira called out excitedly and loudly. Her wacky personality was still in her and she doesn't mind her surrounding at all. "I miss you." she said as she sits down on the vacant chair available for her. "Where did you go? How come you're gone for a long time… I never seen you since high school." she said continuously.
"I am not here for hi and hellos. I am here to talk about something important." Kota told her directly.
"Ohhh… giving me cold treatment huh. Still mad about what I did?" Aira asked but this time her voiced seems down. She asked one of her workmate to bring her juice. "So… what's this all about? What do you need from me that you needed to show your self personally even you tried to pushed me away before?"
"Sakura and you are best of friends right?" Kota asked.
"Yeah we are… not until what happened between the two of us." Aira said. Her ordered juice arrived and so she take a sip first. "You are not the only one who was mad that time but also me."
"But you were maddened upon her death?"
"Sakura is a nice friend. She listens to my whining and complains. She was reliable and she always comfort me all the time and so… of course… I'll be mad because she died." Aira answered but then she giggled after that making Kota wonder why. For him, Aira's words ricks of lies on it. "Do you think I will said that?"
"I'm serious."
"I’m serious too." Aira replied back. "We are best friends just in name… but the truth was… I am just her errand girl. Just because she was pretty and liked she think she was the queen and she can do everything with just her charm. She was smart and cunning at the same time. She irritates me so much… that when I heard she died I didn't felt sad at all."
Kota gasped when he heard Aira's words, he was silence for a moment and then he continue interrogating her. "Is that a joke as well?" he asked for confirmation.
"What do you think it was?" Aira asked.
"Please be serious."
"I dated Hikaru because I wanted to be closer to you. From the very beginning it was you who I like and not him but your best friend was so in love with me that it was hard to let go. Sakura found out about my feelings and offered help. She said that she will do something for me and you to become closer to each other and I trusted my fate on her. That night party in my house was Sakura's plan, she asked me to make you drunk so that I can have you for the night. She told me that if he found out that you 'did' me then you will take responsibility. I can't think of any other plan to capture you in my arms and I thought that it was the right thing to do. I love you Kota, that's the reason I did that but you know… Hikaru seeing us together was not in the plan. Like you, I was also surprised. I may be stupid but I am not a bad woman… I know how much Hikaru love me and so I planned to break up with him properly the next day if he didn't found us that night." Aira reminisced the past. She was telling everything in calm manner and that same time Kota can also remember everything that she said.
"It was Sakura's plan for her own self but what I can't understand was that event also affected the friendship of the two of you. I always knew that Sakura do something which can give her benefit and advantage. She was always like that and so… what's the point of destroying you and Hikaru?"
Kota remained in silence for a moment and then he sighed. "Let's not talk about that. it's in the past and we can't change it anymore."
"It seems like you knew something."
"I don't."
"Whatever… I will not force you to tell to me. Anyway… what is really your purpose for visiting me? What do you want to ask?"
"Do you know someone who can take revenge because of Sakura's death?" Kota asked directly. "Or… maybe someone who will be mad because she died." he rephrased.
"What's with that unusual question?" Aira asked. "The murderer that killed her was not found and was not known and so who will take revenge for her? Or… do you have any idea who did that to her? Do you have any lead who killed her? You are in same group with her and so… you might have an idea who are the probable suspects?"
"O…of course I don't know. Even we are in the same group you know that we are not close at all."
Aira think for a moment and he agreed on what Kota told her. "Maybe Hikaru…" she said. "They were dating when Sakura died."
Kota didn't comment on that. He just remembered that moment that Hikaru attacked him and he was so mad at him. He was surprised when he said that he and Sakura dated each other when he knew that his friend doesn't have any feelings for that girl and it was only Aira who he really cares. "You knew they dated?"
"Of course… but it seems like I'm the only one who knows it or not…" Aira confirmed. She paused for a moment like she was thinking what she will going to say next. "There is also one person who might take revenge because of Sakura's death."
"Who?"
"Keito Okamoto."
"I… I don't think so…"
"But more than Hikaru, I think he have more reason to be mad when Sakura died. He was the most promising who will take revenge since his future was in the hand of the Sakura's family."
"That is impossible to happen."
"Just because he is one of your best friend you have the right to be biased."
"That is not what I mean… Keito Okamoto died 2 years ago and so it was impossible for him to do that."
Aira give Kota a dumbfounded stare. She didn't know that it happened and so she didn't know what to say. She take a sip on her juice and gulped. "How? I didn't know that."
"He committed suicide. I didn't know the story as well but it seems like he was pressured and so… he killed himself." Kota explained. "Because of that, what you said was impossible to happen. But how come you said that? Why will Keito take revenge?"
"You didn't know anything aren't you?" Aira asked. "Okamoto is a great student and he really have a great talent in music composition. He won an award because of that and that's how his talent was discovered but because his family was poor he can't afford to go to university to study music and that's were Sakura comes in. Her family offers scholarship to students who have great talent but… mainly the one they were giving scholarship are those that have connection with their family. I heard that Keito asked Sakura about it but she rejected but then one day she told him that she will asked her parents to grant him a scholarship."
"And then?"
"Okamoto was able to attend university with the help of Sakura and so what do you think will happen if Sakura died? Of course the ties that he have with the Minato will be gone besides from the very beginning Sakura's family didn't fancy him, it's just that Sakura begged and so he was chosen. Sakura was really desperate that time even her family decline her offer so many times. It seems like there is a vital factor that was pushing her to do that which I didn't know what." she explained.
"And when Sakura died… Keito felt depression and killed himself." Kota continued.
"Yeah… It was maybe the second factor."
"Second?" Kota asked curiously.
"What are you doing all this years? You are so clueless about what happened to people surrounding you, aren't you?" Aira asked. She finally finished her juice and she ordered for another one. "I think it was another problem that Okamoto suffered. Just after our graduation, he joined a competition which focus on music composition, the price money was big and maybe that inspires him to join. But an issue arise, the music that he did was a plagiarize work and it was really became tragic since he plagiarize the composition of a well known composer to new generations and he is someone you knew."
"Who?"
"The guy that you admire the most… Ono Daisuke." Aira revealed. "It was really a big embarrassment to Keito and since then I didn't saw him again. I am surprised that… he killed himself. Maybe the pressure was too much to endure."
Kota didn't know what to say anymore. He didn't know everything that Aira told her. It just reminded him again when Hikaru told him that he didn't know anything at all about what happened to everyone in the whole 3 years that shut himself in his apartment. It was true… he didn't know anything at all and things about Keito.
He remembered 2 years ago when Keito tried to visit him. He knocked on the door of his apartment but he was not responding at all. He didn't want to see him nor talk to him. He didn't need anyone that moment and he just wanted to be all alone. But Keito continued to knocked and he wanted to talk to him about something. When he felt irritated he opened the door and he shouted on Keito telling him that stop bothering him anymore. He even pushed him away but he doesn't care that time. He doesn't care about anyone even to himself.
"Stop bothering me anymore… stop… I want to be alone. I WANT TO BE ALONE!!! I don't need you… I don't need anyone else."
"Kota… It's not your fault so… you don't need to blame yourself anymore." Keito told him. "You don't need to lock yourself here and drown yourself with sadness and regret."
"Shut up… shut up… shut up… don't talk like you know anything. Yo… you always live a great a life… you can smile easily even you have a problem.. I am not like you… I am not like you Keito… I can't do it. Leave me alone already… LEAVE ME ALONE." he shouted on him.
"I can't… I can't smile anymore." Kota heard him whispered and after that he leave without saying anything. That was the last time that he saw Keito and days passed and he didn't come back anymore. Those were the last memories he have for his childhood friend. He didn't came back anymore to visit him but he was not bother. One day his mother called him and told him about Keito's situation. He was so shocked that he didn't know what to do first. He have no idea why it happened and why he did it. He was so clueless that he felt down and more depressed. While remembering those last words he felt that Keito was there because he need someone to help him. He need him to listen to his words, he need a friend who will care for his problems but he just shoved him away and ignore him.
Kota covered his mouth as he remembered something on his mind. He looks devastated and loss. He stand up and get his bag. "I'm going…" Kota told Aira as he prepared himself to go.
"Are we done?"
"N…no… I can't continue at this moment b…but I'll be back. There are still things I need to ask you." Kota said. He put out some money and give it to Aira to pay for his order for the juice that she ordered. He went inside his car and he close the window. He didn't start the car instantly and he was just looking at the open space.
He hold on his hair as he started sobbing. "What have I done? What have I done?" he whimpered. "I…I'm sorry Keito… I'm sorry."
While crying by his own, he heard his phone ring and it was Ono who was calling. He didn't want to answer it but it might be important and so he stop crying and pretended that he was okay. Ono wanted to met him in the usual place all alone.

i'm watching Digimon Adventure 01 right now and i so love Patamon and Gomamon. They are so cuteXP I'm rewatching the series since i am so excited for the new season that i think will comes out on Spring 2015. It brings so much nostalgia... my memories of my childhood.
