He seek for truth, he yearned for what really happened and why things are going this and that. But what if he is going further to what is already near to him? Is everything gone too late to change? Everyone is given curiosity and so will you open the box as well?

Chapter 38
"Forgiveness"
Suzanne and Kamiyo rushed towards the hospital when he heard from a call that Kota met an accident. Without any hesitation she came instantly worried about his son's condition and by the time they arrived he saw Kota's friend waiting in the emergency room and one of them was Kei Inoo who was sitting silently in the corner. She went straight to where he was sitting down and give him a strong slap on the face making the others alert about the situation. "How many times I told you not to see my son ever again… this is your fault right? This is your fault why he was there right now and in the verge of death. Is my husband's death not enough for your revenge? Do you still want to pull my son in despair as well?" she asked loudly making all the attention of all the people inside to them. "Answer me!!!"
Kei didn't make a move and he just accepted every ugly words Suzanne addressed to him. Ryosuke came and protected Kei towards Kota's ravaging mother. "Please stop this… it was not Kei's fault why Kota was there. No one wants this to happen." he said. "It was an accident."
"No… that guy cursed my family." Suzanne spitted out but this time it was Kamiyo who stop her from talking nonsense. The commotion stop when a doctor from the emergency room came out and asked if there is someone among the relatives who have an AB positive blood. Kota lost so much blood that he need a transfusion immediately. No one answered at first but all of a sudden Kamiyo raised his hand.
"I am." he answered.
"Are you willing to donate blood for the patient… before that what is your relationship with him?" the doctor asked as a confirmation.
Kamiyo didn't answer instantly because he was kind of troubled by something but Suzanne answered the doctor for him and told him that he was Kota's father. It's obvious to Kamiyo's face that he wanted to asked some questions but because the situation was urgent they need to make the necessary actions in order to save his life.
When Suzanne was busy interacting with the doctor, Ryosuke brought Kei in a place away from Kota's mother. Things are not going well and so in order to avoid more trouble Kei wanted to move away from her. He was accompanied by Yuya and Ryosuke who was so worried about him.
"There are so much things I wanted to ask you Kei but I know what's important at this moment was Kota's condition." Ryosuke told him. "Are you alright? Are you feeling well? You look kind of pale." he said and so he check on Kei's temperature and he was kind of hot and feverish.
"I think you should have a rest Kei…" Yuya told him.
"I can't do that…" Kei answered instantly. "I want… I want to know if Kota is fine instantly or else… I will not be able to rest well. I guess Kota's mom is right… maybe this is really my fault. I hurt Kota… I hurt his feelings and when he met an accident he was following me. I am so selfish that I didn't consider his feeling… I'm such stupid." he cried
"Don’t say that Kei…"
"I'm sorry… I apologized for everything… for hiding the truth… for running away… for making everyone worry. I’m really sorry."

Suzanne and Hikaru was left alone in front of the emergency together and it was obvious that Hikaru didn't like what Kota's mother did to Kei a while back. But he can't understand why Suzanne was so mad at Kei even he didn't do anything yet. What does she mean by revenge and about his husbands death. There are lots of things he wanted to ask but he can't bring help himself to ask do because he was afraid of her and maybe it was too personal to barge in but all of a sudden his phone ring and it was a call coming from Daiki. He knew that he will coming back that day but because of what happened he can't picked him up in the airport. He sent him a message about what happened to Kota and he said that he will come in the hospital as well together with someone. He even asked Hikaru if Kota's mother was around the area and make sure that she didn't go anywhere else.
Few minutes after receiving that call, Daiki arrived in the hospital with a middle age woman following her. Hikaru approached him and asked what was Daiki planning to do but he said he should just stay there and he will tell everything later. That small guy approached Suzanne and introduced himself as Kota's friend and he said that he wanted to talk to her immediately. Suzanne didn't want at first, saying that she can't leave the place but when Daiki said that it was all about Ryo then she didn't hesitate to come. They went to a secluded area where there were not much of people around.
"What is this all about?" Suzanne asked.
"Kei didn't killed your husband." Daiki started and with that starting line it already caught Suzanne's attention.
"You are one of Kei's friend as well right?"
"Even I am not Kei's friend I will still defend his side." Daiki said. "You first accused Kota and when Kei said that it was him you are now mad at him. How can you accused people easily without any proof. You were not even sure of what really happened that day."
"Why? Did you know what happened? By the way you talk as if you knew everything."
"I am not there… but I heard the truth coming from someone who was really involved in that case." Daiki answered confidently and that exact moment Sharley showed herself. She was nervous and its obvious because of the look on her face. Suzanne didn't know who she was and so she wonder what is Daiki planning to do. "This is Sharley… she is your husbands girlfriend and also… one of the mastermind of Kei's kidnapping years ago."
"Girlfriend?" Suzanne laughed incoherently. "Hey young fellow… I don't have much time to waste on your stupid jokes. I don't know why you are doing this but… if you know your friend is in a critical condition and as a mother I wanted to see him and support him."
"This young fellow was right." Sharley interrupted. "I am Ryo's girlfriend… the reason why he rarely coming back few weeks before his death was because he was spending his time with me. He get tired of you and he treated you useless already and so he look for someone that can give him some benefits. Actually your son knew about this but it seems like he didn't spit it out… maybe because he didn't want to hurt you or… Ryo threatened him not to tell anything." she continued to talk.
"That's a lie!" she shouted out loud and that surprised Daiki and Sharley but she knew deep inside the truth. It's true that Ryo was rarely coming back home in those times and there are thoughts in her head that he might be liking someone else because the love that they shared were getting cold but because she love him so much she didn't want to let go and still believe that unless Ryo told him personally that it will be the end then it will be.
Suzanne came from a wealthy family, she gained everything that she want in material things easily but as a consequence of being rich, she was holding so much expectations on her back. As the only daughter and only child, her parents are expecting her to be the role model, smart, lady like, beautiful and knew everything as much as possible. Her parents even choose who she needs to get along and mostly they are from great family backgrounds. Kamiyo was her childhood friend and their parents were really close. Ryo is Kamiyo's friend who introduced him to her. She falls in love with Ryo's kindness and his dream to become a successful photographer in the future gives her inspiration to do her best as well to do what she love. He likes Ryo because he was a man of ambition and dream and he make sure that he will do everything for that sole goal.
One day Ryo asked her to be his model for his project which she easily agreed. In the expand of time that they were doing the project together, the two deeply falls in love with each other and that started their relationship as a couple. But her parents found it out and since they didn't like Ryo they tried to separate her to him. Her parents wanted Kamiyo to be her fiancée though he is no one but a friend to her.
Suzanne insisted on having a relationship to Ryo and even how many times they were separated she always comes back. Her house is a jail and it suffocating her. She need to do everything that her parents said and anything that against their words serves a punishment. It was only on Ryo's side that she felt happy and free and she thought that he is her savior and her hero and promise that she will going to love him for the rest of her life.
The fiancé thing of Kamiyo and Suzanne became official but she opposed to it so much. She talked to Kamiyo and told her that she didn't want to get married to him and said that Kamiyo can't marry a woman he didn't like. But the answer of the young man was different from what she was expecting. Kamiyo loves her and she wanted to marry her.
Suzanne was so mad at him that she rejected and denied him but Kamiyo likes her and so that night he forced Suzanne to make love to him thinking that if he didn't do anything she will run away and leave him alone which he didn't want to happen. He just wanted for Suzanne to love him back but even they make love that night it was obvious that she didn't have feelings to him and so… he give up.
The next day Suzanne and Ryo leave the place and live with each other while escaping to people's eyes.
"It was not a lie… it's the truth and also…what happened was an accident. We kidnapped the Inoo's son as a revenge but then your son saw us and save his friend. He exchange himself to the bag where we put Inoo. Maybe Ryo found Kota and so they struggled and that cause their accident." Sharley explained the details which becomes the bind of the puzzle to make it whole. Now that explains everything Suzanne heard from the cellphone that day. "Suzanne… aren't you stupid? Ryo… actually never love you. He said that he just became close to you because you were rich and it may help his career. Ryo loves nothing but his camera and his photos… not like you who was so obsessed on him that you forget so many important things in your life… Ryo never actually treated you or consider you as his queen…NEVER."

The operation was done and Kota's condition was still unstable. For him to be considered safe, he need to wake up within the 24 hours period and if not the family need to expect for the worst. He was brought to a private room where he needs more rest.
Kamiyo, who was still feeling weak after the blood donation, let Kota's friend to see him and of course he let Kei to see him as well. He have no bad feelings towards Kei and he always thought that he was a good friend to Kota. He was looking for Suzanne but she was not around and so he said that he will look for her for the meantime and tell her about Kota's condition.
"Kei… were going to leave you for a moment." Ryosuke told him. His friends wanted to give him quality time alone to Kota. "I'll contact your mother."
Kei just nodded his head.
Yuya, Hikaru, Daiki and Ryosuke leave Kei all alone together with Kota. It was a sad reunion. Finally they see each other but Kota was unconscious and his condition was still not sure if it's fine or not unless he wake up. Their relationship gone through a lot and it seems like it still need to go so much because of the accident.
Kei felt weak but he was trying his best to go on. He didn't want to go back home without seeing Kota fine. He blamed himself for what happened to him. He blamed his own self because of everything that he do that leads to an outcome like that. Kota always contacted him, he wanted to see him so much but he only hide himself afraid of what will happen to them.
He was nothing but a coward.

Kamiyo found Suzanne in the cafeteria all alone. She was drinking a coffee and it seems like she was in deep thought. He approached his wife and try to make her at ease by telling that Kota's operation was finished but he was surprised when he saw her crying. "Suzanne, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
She immediately wipe her tears away when she saw Kamiyo but then it won't stop from falling from her eyes. Everything that she found out a while back was so painful for her and receiving it all at ones was really hurting her so much plus the fact that she did so many cruel things to people surrounding her made her feel worst than ever. She didn't know what to do and she wanted to hide herself and never show to anyone. Because she love Ryo so much she was blinded by the fact that there are more desirable people on her side that was always love her purely and passionately.
"Why are you crying?" Kamiyo asked again.
"I'm sorry… I'm very sorry." she apologized sincerely. "I’m sorry for hurting you that time. I knew you love me so much but I rejected you easily. I’m sorry for looking down on you all the time, for acting so cold towards you even we married each other and have our own family. I’m sorry for loving Ryo more than you when actually you love me more than Ryo. I'm sorry…. For hiding the truth… that you are… Kota's true father." she continued to talk but Kamiyo didn't act surprised. When the doctor said that Kota's blood was AB he started to questioned things. He knew that Ryo's blood type was B and Suzanne was an O and so how come Kota was an AB?
"So… he was really my son." Kamiyo whispered and then he remained silent for a moment. "Kota is my son… I have this tingling feeling when I first saw him. I feel easily close to him and we have even have many similarities." he uttered. "Did Ryo knew? Is that the reason why he was so cruel on him because he knew that it was not his son."
Suzanne nodded her head. "I'm sorry… Kamiyo… Please forgive me for everything. I… I promise I'll change… I promise that I will not be cruel on you anymore so please… don't push me away…"
Kamiyo caressed Suzanne's face and wipe the tears falling from her eyes. "What are you talking about… you've done nothing wrong. And even before and until now… I will always love you so I will never push you away." Kamiyo told her and then he kiss her forehead and hug her tightly. "It's not me who you need to apologize… there are certain people that you need to do that to… more than me." he said and Suzanne knew who he was talking about.
"Bu…but… I'm so embarrass and also will they forgive a stupid old hag like me? I..i've done so much to them… and I even hurt their feelings because of my selfish desire… will they forgive me?"
"Those young guys are smart enough to do what needs to be done."

He hold on Kota's hand and gripped on it tightly. He wanted to feel Kota's warmth because he knew that he was alive. Tears are flowing from his eyes before he said a thing. Just seeing his face made him happy but he knew that it was not the right timing to think that way.
"I’m sorry." he mumbled. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry Kota… for leaving you behind, for doing this to you. I promise to you that I will grant your wish when we grow up but you know… I… I don't have much time left. I don't think I can be older enough to reach our goal to open that box. This is the only time I have to fulfill my promise and to grant those things you wrote. I thought you will be happy… I thought everything were doing fine but granting that second to the last wish was so difficult not only for me but… for you too. I miss you so much… I… I saw your concert… I am watching it. That time… I was crying so much like a girl even I am a guy. You were so cool… your phobia is gone. I am so proud of you." Kei smiled while still holding tightly on Kota's hand and hoping that his words can be heard by his boyfriend. He stared at his eyes who seems like just sleeping and having a dream. "Please wake up Kota… don't go before me. It should not end like this… I should be the one dying before you. There are lots of people waiting for you to wake up… your mother. Your father, your siblings, your friends. Your workmates, your fans and also… me. I am here Kota… I will not leave you anymore… till my counted days end." he said.
He kiss Kota's hand gently and then he put his head on the bed still looking on Kota's face. He wanted to be there ones Kota wake up. He wanted to be the first person Kota will see if he open his eyes.

"Kei?" he heard calling his name and he felt that someone was caressing his head gently. He opened his eyes and he saw Kota staring at him with a smiling face.
"Yo…your awake?" he asked.
"Finally your awake too." Kota replied back. "I can't make my voice loud and so I can't wake you up… I'm worried that falling asleep there will make you sick because it's cold."
Kei hugged Kota back, happy that he finally woke up after that accident. "I’m happy… thank you." he whispered on him.
"Are you sick?" Kota asked him and that kind of coming out of nowhere and so Kei look at him bewildered. "Are you still sick?" he asked again. Kei didn't know what Kota mean but then when he saw his hand pointing on his chest as if pointing on his heart, he finally realized what his words meant to tell. How did he know about that? He didn't say anything about his heart disease… no… he did but they were still young that time and Kota loss his memories...
"Y…your memories… Y…you remembered?" Kei stuttered and Kota nodded his head.
"It seems like the impact of the accident brought my memory back. Everything… I can remember everything." Kota said but Kei was too shocked to say a thing. Is it a good thing that he finally regained his lost memories? He is about to say something when Suzanne came inside the room. Kei panicked thinking that Suzanne didn't want him to be there and see Kota. He grabbed on his bag and decided to leave to give the mother and son to talk. Seeing Kota awake is enough for him.
"I…I'm sorry for being here." Kei apologized. "I… I'll go now…" he continued but Kota grabbed his hand and stop him from walking away. "K…Kota… let go."
"Stay… please." Kota told him.
"Stay Kei… that is what my son want." Suzanne told him which kind of different from her usual reaction and so Kei didn't know what to do. "I am glad you woke Kou… your mother is happy."
"Mom… I love Kei." Kota said all of a sudden. He was still affected by the fact that Suzanne was mad at Kei and try to opposed their relationship. Even he was sick and weak he still have guts to said such romantic thing in front of his mother. "I’m serious… and I don't want you to…"
"Please let me say something before that." Suzanne interrupted. She held a deep breathe and then released it out. She need to prepare herself for what she is about to say. "I'm sorry." she said sincerely. "I'm sorry for everything that I have done. I’m sorry for ruining your relationship… I'm very sorry… Kou… Kei…I know it's not easy to forgive me after everything that I have done but… this time I am sincerely apologizing to the two of you." she said and she even bowed in front of the two. "I know everything… Sharley told me everything that happened and now my mind is so clear of doubts and questions. I've done so many wrong things to the both of you so please… forgive me."
Kei and Kota never expected the day that she will bow down in front of them. The two was surprised but in the end she was easily forgiven by the two thinking that the past was not important anymore. Now that Suzanne realized her fault means that she was ready to move forward. Now that Kota have his memory back he was also ready to move forward. Now that Kei finally was back to Kota he was ready to move forward even there was not much time available for him.
That time Kei realized… he wanted to spend the rest of his time with the person that he loves the most.
Author's Note: OMG... this fic only have 2 chapters left. I am so proud of myself that i am near the goal. This was my longest fic ever... but i am not sure if this will hold the record for long. I have this feeling that my Never to Betray You Again will be a longer fic too though i am not really sureXD

Sharley explained the details which becomes the bind of the puzzle to make it whole. Now that explains everything Suzanne heard from the cellphone that day. "Suzanne… aren't you stupid? Ryo… actually never love you. He said that he just became close to you because you were rich and it may help his career. Ryo loves nothing but his camera and his photos… not like you who was so obsessed on him that you forget so many important things in your life… Ryo never actually treated you or consider you as his queen…NEVER."

The operation was done and Kota's condition was still unstable. For him to be considered safe, he need to wake up within the 24 hours period and if not the family need to expect for the worst. He was brought to a private room where he needs more rest.
Kamiyo, who was still feeling weak after the blood donation, let Kota's friend to see him and of course he let Kei to see him as well. He have no bad feelings towards Kei and he always thought that he was a good friend to Kota. He was looking for Suzanne but she was not around and so he said that he will look for her for the meantime and tell her about Kota's condition.
"Kei… were going to leave you for a moment." Ryosuke told him. His friends wanted to give him quality time alone to Kota. "I'll contact your mother."
Kei just nodded his head.
Yuya, Hikaru, Daiki and Ryosuke leave Kei all alone together with Kota. It was a sad reunion. Finally they see each other but Kota was unconscious and his condition was still not sure if it's fine or not unless he wake up. Their relationship gone through a lot and it seems like it still need to go so much because of the accident.
Kei felt weak but he was trying his best to go on. He didn't want to go back home without seeing Kota fine. He blamed himself for what happened to him. He blamed his own self because of everything that he do that leads to an outcome like that. Kota always contacted him, he wanted to see him so much but he only hide himself afraid of what will happen to them.
He was nothing but a coward.

Kamiyo found Suzanne in the cafeteria all alone. She was drinking a coffee and it seems like she was in deep thought. He approached his wife and try to make her at ease by telling that Kota's operation was finished but he was surprised when he saw her crying. "Suzanne, what's wrong?" he asked worriedly.
She immediately wipe her tears away when she saw Kamiyo but then it won't stop from falling from her eyes. Everything that she found out a while back was so painful for her and receiving it all at ones was really hurting her so much plus the fact that she did so many cruel things to people surrounding her made her feel worst than ever. She didn't know what to do and she wanted to hide herself and never show to anyone. Because she love Ryo so much she was blinded by the fact that there are more desirable people on her side that was always love her purely and passionately.
"Why are you crying?" Kamiyo asked again.
"I'm sorry… I'm very sorry." she apologized sincerely. "I’m sorry for hurting you that time. I knew you love me so much but I rejected you easily. I’m sorry for looking down on you all the time, for acting so cold towards you even we married each other and have our own family. I’m sorry for loving Ryo more than you when actually you love me more than Ryo. I'm sorry…. For hiding the truth… that you are… Kota's true father." she continued to talk but Kamiyo didn't act surprised. When the doctor said that Kota's blood was AB he started to questioned things. He knew that Ryo's blood type was B and Suzanne was an O and so how come Kota was an AB?
"So… he was really my son." Kamiyo whispered and then he remained silent for a moment. "Kota is my son… I have this tingling feeling when I first saw him. I feel easily close to him and we have even have many similarities." he uttered. "Did Ryo knew? Is that the reason why he was so cruel on him because he knew that it was not his son."
Suzanne nodded her head. "I'm sorry… Kamiyo… Please forgive me for everything. I… I promise I'll change… I promise that I will not be cruel on you anymore so please… don't push me away…"
Kamiyo caressed Suzanne's face and wipe the tears falling from her eyes. "What are you talking about… you've done nothing wrong. And even before and until now… I will always love you so I will never push you away." Kamiyo told her and then he kiss her forehead and hug her tightly. "It's not me who you need to apologize… there are certain people that you need to do that to… more than me." he said and Suzanne knew who he was talking about.
"Bu…but… I'm so embarrass and also will they forgive a stupid old hag like me? I..i've done so much to them… and I even hurt their feelings because of my selfish desire… will they forgive me?"
"Those young guys are smart enough to do what needs to be done."

He hold on Kota's hand and gripped on it tightly. He wanted to feel Kota's warmth because he knew that he was alive. Tears are flowing from his eyes before he said a thing. Just seeing his face made him happy but he knew that it was not the right timing to think that way.
"I’m sorry." he mumbled. "I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry… I'm sorry Kota… for leaving you behind, for doing this to you. I promise to you that I will grant your wish when we grow up but you know… I… I don't have much time left. I don't think I can be older enough to reach our goal to open that box. This is the only time I have to fulfill my promise and to grant those things you wrote. I thought you will be happy… I thought everything were doing fine but granting that second to the last wish was so difficult not only for me but… for you too. I miss you so much… I… I saw your concert… I am watching it. That time… I was crying so much like a girl even I am a guy. You were so cool… your phobia is gone. I am so proud of you." Kei smiled while still holding tightly on Kota's hand and hoping that his words can be heard by his boyfriend. He stared at his eyes who seems like just sleeping and having a dream. "Please wake up Kota… don't go before me. It should not end like this… I should be the one dying before you. There are lots of people waiting for you to wake up… your mother. Your father, your siblings, your friends. Your workmates, your fans and also… me. I am here Kota… I will not leave you anymore… till my counted days end." he said.
He kiss Kota's hand gently and then he put his head on the bed still looking on Kota's face. He wanted to be there ones Kota wake up. He wanted to be the first person Kota will see if he open his eyes.

"Kei?" he heard calling his name and he felt that someone was caressing his head gently. He opened his eyes and he saw Kota staring at him with a smiling face.
"Yo…your awake?" he asked.
"Finally your awake too." Kota replied back. "I can't make my voice loud and so I can't wake you up… I'm worried that falling asleep there will make you sick because it's cold."
Kei hugged Kota back, happy that he finally woke up after that accident. "I’m happy… thank you." he whispered on him.
"Are you sick?" Kota asked him and that kind of coming out of nowhere and so Kei look at him bewildered. "Are you still sick?" he asked again. Kei didn't know what Kota mean but then when he saw his hand pointing on his chest as if pointing on his heart, he finally realized what his words meant to tell. How did he know about that? He didn't say anything about his heart disease… no… he did but they were still young that time and Kota loss his memories...
"Y…your memories… Y…you remembered?" Kei stuttered and Kota nodded his head.
"It seems like the impact of the accident brought my memory back. Everything… I can remember everything." Kota said but Kei was too shocked to say a thing. Is it a good thing that he finally regained his lost memories? He is about to say something when Suzanne came inside the room. Kei panicked thinking that Suzanne didn't want him to be there and see Kota. He grabbed on his bag and decided to leave to give the mother and son to talk. Seeing Kota awake is enough for him.
"I…I'm sorry for being here." Kei apologized. "I… I'll go now…" he continued but Kota grabbed his hand and stop him from walking away. "K…Kota… let go."
"Stay… please." Kota told him.
"Stay Kei… that is what my son want." Suzanne told him which kind of different from her usual reaction and so Kei didn't know what to do. "I am glad you woke Kou… your mother is happy."
"Mom… I love Kei." Kota said all of a sudden. He was still affected by the fact that Suzanne was mad at Kei and try to opposed their relationship. Even he was sick and weak he still have guts to said such romantic thing in front of his mother. "I’m serious… and I don't want you to…"
"Please let me say something before that." Suzanne interrupted. She held a deep breathe and then released it out. She need to prepare herself for what she is about to say. "I'm sorry." she said sincerely. "I'm sorry for everything that I have done. I’m sorry for ruining your relationship… I'm very sorry… Kou… Kei…I know it's not easy to forgive me after everything that I have done but… this time I am sincerely apologizing to the two of you." she said and she even bowed in front of the two. "I know everything… Sharley told me everything that happened and now my mind is so clear of doubts and questions. I've done so many wrong things to the both of you so please… forgive me."
Kei and Kota never expected the day that she will bow down in front of them. The two was surprised but in the end she was easily forgiven by the two thinking that the past was not important anymore. Now that Suzanne realized her fault means that she was ready to move forward. Now that Kota have his memory back he was also ready to move forward. Now that Kei finally was back to Kota he was ready to move forward even there was not much time available for him.
That time Kei realized… he wanted to spend the rest of his time with the person that he loves the most.
Author's Note: OMG... this fic only have 2 chapters left. I am so proud of myself that i am near the goal. This was my longest fic ever... but i am not sure if this will hold the record for long. I have this feeling that my Never to Betray You Again will be a longer fic too though i am not really sureXD
