SUMMARY: Hatred turned to love, silence turned to seeking and lies become truth. Kota just hit the rock bottom making him realize that memories should not remained unlock. He seek for truth, he yearned for what really happened and why things are going this and that. But what if he is going further to what is already near to him? Is everything gone too late to change? Everyone is given curiosity and so will you open the box as well?

Chapter 12
"Confession"
Ryosuke, HIkaru, Yuya and even Daiki rushed going to Sein Hospital when they heard that Kei collapsed. They asked the front desk what room was Kei assigned but Daiki saw Noren and so he immediately approached her and the other just follow him. "Good day aunty, how is Kei?" Daiki asked her.
"Dai-chan and everyone. Is the program finished?" Noren asked them.
"Yeah it's just finished and then we heard that Kei-chan collapsed and so we come and visit instantly." Ryosuke answered her. "is he alright now?"
"I am glad that Kei have great friends like you. He was resting on his room and he just woke up. He still have a fever though." Noren answered them. "He was in room 209 if you want to see him. I will just go to the accounting office to settle some bills."
As the four of them went straight to the room, the nurse who was checking Kei was shocked to see good looking guys entering the room. “Oh my what good looking people.” She muttered to herself and when she was done she exited the room while admiring the face of Kei's friend. Kei saw the nurse reaction and he just chuckled.
Ryosuke approached Kei as he saw him smiling at them. He look pale and weak “Kei, are you alright? Are you fine now?” he asked him worriedly.
“It's just fatigue. I just need some rest and I will be okay soon." Kei answered them. "Is the program finished? What happened?"
“It was very successful.” Hikaru said. "All the audience are pumped up when we are performing. If only you are there to see our performance…"
“How long are you going to stay here?” Yuya asked him.
“I think I still need to stay here maybe 3 days more.” Kei scratched his chin. “But I am fine already… my mother just wanted to make sure so she let me confined here for another 3 days. I’ll be back to school after that. By the way congratulation everyone for a successful event.”
“Yeah... it was really good.” Daiki said. “Everyone of you did a good job.” He give them a two thumbs up. “I felt envious that I was not able to perform like I use to but I really enjoy it. Everyone of you improve and the theme was more exciting than last year."
“I am glad to hear this good news."Kei whispered. He become silent for a moment as he played with his fingers. "How about Yabu? Did he…"
"He did well… better than we expected." Yuya answered him. "Actually he won over the popularity poll."
"I was shocked when he started to sing. I didn't know that he have such great talent and to be able to fix his fear I am really proud of him." Ryosuke added. "But what he did in the end of the program is so…"
Daiki chuckled upon remembering it making Kei curious what really happened. “That guy snapped.” he said. “After the program girls started to approached him because they were amazed of his performance and since he was new those girls wanted to know him more that they didn’t leave his side. You knew his attitude right? He was so aloft and hate the fact of being surrounded by lots of people. He shouted on all those girls and everyone was left speechless. After that Kota was vanished in the scene."
“He shouted on those girls telling them to not see their ugly faces anymore and so the girls throw tantrum and that cause chaos inside. That guy is really troublemaker and he just leave just like that leaving the staff to fixed the mess.” Hikaru complained.
Kei laughed “That sounds very Yabu. But I am glad he did well…” Kei felt relief deep inside of him. He really thought that Kota will going to quit after what happened and for him to hear that he even did well made him so happy. Yuya noticed the smile on Kei's face.
Daiki looked at his wrist watch and noticed that it was already late “Ahhh...I need to go." he told them. "I still have appointment and also a friend is waiting for me outside. Before that… can I excuse HIkaru for a moment.” He grabbed Hikaru’s hand and then they went outside of the room.
“What do you need from me?”
“I am here to give you this.” Daiki said and then he showed him a ticket. “This is a movie ticket for our date.”
“Date?”
“Ahhh just seeing Kei being sick you already forgotten about our deal. I’ll tell you the details later since I am in rush. Just keep it until then… jya…” Daiki said and then he stop from walking and look back at Hikaru. “Kei is sick… this is your opportunity.” He said.
“Huh? What are you talking about?”
Daiki went out of the hospital and saw Roa standing there while looking up at the sky. “Sorry Roa, I made you wait.” he said as he fix his bag.
“No it’s fine. How is he? Your friend?” Roa asked him.
“He said that it is just fatigue so he is fine now. Did you contact Yuto? He didn’t come back anymore since he walk out in the middle of the show." Daiki asked.
“I’m calling his phone but it was turned off. I wonder what happened to him. He even didn't say anything to us. What's wrong with him?” Roa replied back. “By the way I think I know already where I saw that Yabu guy. While waiting here I kinda remembered it.”
“Really? Where?” Daiki asked curiously.
“One day, I accidentally saw Yuto’s wallet and then I saw a picture of him in there. Actually it is a picture of two of them. I am sure it was him since I really think he was cute and I even asked who he is but Yuto immediately snatched the picture away and then shifted the topic into something else.” Roa explained. "It looks like something important to him… you know it's rare for guys to put picture in their wallet specially with someone else."
“Yuto and Kota knows each other? How did that happen?” Daiki asked as he think but they are already late to their appointment and they already need to rush so he take it aside for later.

Its lunch break, Kota was peacefully looking up at the sky in the rooftop of their school and resting. He heard the door opened and saw Yuya standing in front of him while drinking a juice. Yuya sit down besides him and Kota sit down as well. He stretched up his hand and glare at Yuya wondering why he was there. "Is there something you need from me?"
“I went to your classroom and Hikaru said that you are here.” Yuya said “Are you not going to visit Kei in the hospital? I heard that you are the first one who saw him that time. Is that the reason why you are late before our performance."
“I tried to run away but instead I bumped into him and I was forced to go back." Kota answered. "Thanks to him I need to deal with those crazy girls who always wait in front of the gate just to talk to me. It's annoying and troublesome."
“But there is no doubt you enjoyed It right?" Yuya asked him back. "I saw a different Kota when you are singing and playing guitar that time. Don't you feel fortunate? You have Kei on your back. I always knew Kei being so nice with everyone but… it's scary how special he treated you. It seems like your existence stands above everyone else which I don't understand why. After all the bad things you did to him, how you treat him, he still… smile by just hearing your name."
“What do you want to imply?”
“I wish that you didn't come to this school.” Yuya answered him honestly.
“Is that a confession of how much you hated me? Don't tell me you blame me for your own rejection?"
"I did."
"Are you an idiot? There's no way that Kei… will…like me." Kota paused for a moment as he said something he never thought before. It never reach his mind about it but he think that it was possible since he also noticed that Kei was so attached to him. He always asked why Kei is doing all those things for him and maybe the reason behind is because he like him. Kota felt blushing as he realized something very important but he shake his head to sway those thoughts away.
Yuya stand up and flattened his pants. "I guess you should visit him in the hospital. He will be more than happy to see you."
“I don’t want… I hate hospital.” Kota blurted out.
“Is that so?" Yuya whispered "You know when we visited Kei the other day there is another guy who was fascinated by him when he was playing the piano and he seems interested to him. According to Kei's mother, he was always visiting and sending gifts for him. I wonder why… I guess it was more than admiration besides… Kei is really a pretty good looking guy don't you think?" he continued. "I'll be going, my next class is about to start."

"Should I go?" Kota asked himself while he was standing in front of a fruit store and bought a basket of assorted fruits for a sick. He really didn't want to go since the last time he visit the hospital is his grandmother's death and after that he curse that place. But what Yuya said was bothering him. Why do he feel irritated upon hearing that there is another guy admiring Kei? It's like the time when Kei and Yuya are absent and he discovered that they are together. "If I will not go… this fruit will go to waste." he continued. He walked to the direction of the hospital when he saw Yuto on his way. He just came from school as well since he is still wearing his uniform. "Yuto."
“Kou…Can we talk?" Yuto asked him.
The two went to a nearby coffee shop and then start their conversation. Even Yuto give so much trouble to him he can't still say NO whenever he will asked a favor. There is still a feeling of specialness deep inside of his heart besides he was all aware that he cannot erase Yuto's existence instantly coz he was playing a big role in his life.
“What do you want to talk about?” Kota asked him.
“I watched you perform in your school the other day. I wanted to congratulate you. You really did well, something you never showed to anyone except me." Yuto started. "I am glad that you can finally perform in front of all the people. Doing that means that your fear against crowds is finally healing. Are you… are you going into a psychological therapy? I thought you don't like it."
"I still don't like it." Kota answered him.
“Th…then you are doing this all alone?"
"Actually I am not alone. I don't think I can do it without the support of the people surrounding me that time. Even they are irritating, they sure know how to handle someone like me and also…"
"Also?"
"Someone who is really forcing me to do it. A guy who seems like he know how to handle me more than anyone else. His words always help me when I am struggling. He always knew what to do, he always knew what words to use to convince me that I can do it." Kota continued to explain. "He was like you are before."
"Who is he?"
"Kei… Kei Inoo is his name. He is my classmate." Kota answered.
"Kou, can you listen to me." Yuto said. "You must not trust people easily. You know your situation right? Yo… you lost lots of things in your past. If people will knew about this they can use it as their advantage to control you without your noticed. I… I am concerned with you coz I know more than anyone else how you suffered because of your amnesia."
"Why are you telling this to me?"
"Because it seems like… it seems like you are becoming attached to someone who you should not. I know this sounds so stupid specially coming from someone who hurt you and abandon you just like that but… you still trust me right? Even we are not lovers anymore I still care for you coz you are someone important to me."
"Don't worry, I still trust you with all my life. How will I not do that? You are my best friend right? We are together since we are young, you know me more than anyone else. Even we are separate now, you are still the most important person for me." Kota answered him and then he check his watch. "I need to go. I have something important to do."
"Wait Kou… I… I want you… I want you to avoid that Kei Inoo." Yuto commanded but Kota didn't hear him since he was already paying for the bills of the coffee that they ordered and he was in a rush so he just exited the coffee shop without saying anything anymore.

Kei was busy reading when the nurse came to check his status. It's his 2nd day in the hospital and he was getting bored already, fortunately Ryosuke brought some books to read and also his notes for their lesson for the day. After the nurse check him, she exited the room where she was surprised to see a tall young man standing there. "Are you here for Inoo-san?" the nurse asked Kota.
"Yeah is this his room?"
"Yup." the nurse nodded her head.
"Can I asked you something? Is there a guy who visited this patient everyday like he is some admirer?"
"Admirer? Except for those 4 who visit him the other day the small one visit today. I heard his name was Ryosuke. After him there is no one else anymore." the nurse answered. "Is there something wrong sir?"
"That Yuya… is he playing trick on me?" Kota murmured. "No…nothing I just asked. Thank you for answering." The nurse smiled and excused herself. Kota knocked on the door and opened it and he was welcomed by Kei's gaze. "I came for a visit."
“You visited me.” Kei said with a smile as he put down the notes that he is reading. “Or you just lost your way and ended up here?”
“Think whatever you want to think…” Kota told him as he put down the fruits that he bought for Kei. He sit down on the available chair and then look at Kei who was also looking at him like nothing happened. He is back to his usual self. “So it is just really fatigue?”
“Yup… just a fatigue.” Kei repeated.
“Liar.” Kota retorted. “I am the one who see you collapse and I can tell from it that it is not just fatigue. But it’s not like I care so I will not asked you anymore.”
“Alright… that’s goes well with me.” Kei said. “I heard that the performance was successful. How was it? Did you enjoy it? I also heard that you have lots of fans now."
"Fans? Those irritating bitches… they just keep on saying how great I am and they wanted to get my number and they keep on asking if I already have a girlfriend it's so annoying." Kota complained.
"Everything is annoying on your part." Kei responded. "But you enjoy it right? Standing in that stage? Making people happy because of your voice… isn't it an uplifting feeling?"
“Maybe… it was." Kota whispered. "By the way I met Yuto before I go here.”
“Yuto? Wh..what did you talk about? Does he wanted to be back with you?"
“It's not like that. He just told me stuffs that I already knew. Warning me that I should not trust people because of my circumstances I will be easily deceived. He told me something else but I didn't hear it clearly." Kota told him.
"Yuto said that?" Kei whispered. "I think I agree with him. You should not trust people that easily. They might used you or betray you in the end and I am not exemption to that right?" Kei answered him. The two look at each other eye to eye and then Kota remembered what he just realized when he and Yuya are talking together. Why is Kei so nice to him? Why is he so attached to him? Why do he have this feeling that Kei likes him.
“Can I ask you something?” Kota interrupted.“Why are you so nice to me? Why do you always care for me? Why are you always helping me? By any chance, I wonder… do you… do you like me?" Kota asked him directly but he was not expecting anything at all. He knows Kei's kind nature and he will help anyone who need his help but Yuya's words made him think if there is a possibility that Kei might really think that way towards him.
Kei seems startled with what Kota asked but all of a sudden he smiled as he close the notes that he was reading and he stared directly to Kota who waiting for his reply. “What if I am… will you accept my feeling?”

“Liar.” Kota retorted. “I am the one who see you collapse and I can tell from it that it is not just fatigue. But it’s not like I care so I will not asked you anymore.”
“Alright… that’s goes well with me.” Kei said. “I heard that the performance was successful. How was it? Did you enjoy it? I also heard that you have lots of fans now."
"Fans? Those irritating bitches… they just keep on saying how great I am and they wanted to get my number and they keep on asking if I already have a girlfriend it's so annoying." Kota complained.
"Everything is annoying on your part." Kei responded. "But you enjoy it right? Standing in that stage? Making people happy because of your voice… isn't it an uplifting feeling?"
“Maybe… it was." Kota whispered. "By the way I met Yuto before I go here.”
“Yuto? Wh..what did you talk about? Does he wanted to be back with you?"
“It's not like that. He just told me stuffs that I already knew. Warning me that I should not trust people because of my circumstances I will be easily deceived. He told me something else but I didn't hear it clearly." Kota told him.
"Yuto said that?" Kei whispered. "I think I agree with him. You should not trust people that easily. They might used you or betray you in the end and I am not exemption to that right?" Kei answered him. The two look at each other eye to eye and then Kota remembered what he just realized when he and Yuya are talking together. Why is Kei so nice to him? Why is he so attached to him? Why do he have this feeling that Kei likes him.
“Can I ask you something?” Kota interrupted.“Why are you so nice to me? Why do you always care for me? Why are you always helping me? By any chance, I wonder… do you… do you like me?" Kota asked him directly but he was not expecting anything at all. He knows Kei's kind nature and he will help anyone who need his help but Yuya's words made him think if there is a possibility that Kei might really think that way towards him.
Kei seems startled with what Kota asked but all of a sudden he smiled as he close the notes that he was reading and he stared directly to Kota who waiting for his reply. “What if I am… will you accept my feeling?”
