Summary: Jae-hwa is tired of hearing the same thing, that he cling to his family's fame to reach his position. Why is it no one believes that he is doing everything because of his own effort and not because of his family's influence? And so he decided to go to Japan and prove himself that he can do things on his own.

Chapter 1
"The Korean Boy Meets Japan"
"Annyong haseyo. (good morning)" Jae-Hwa greeted to everyone he can see around the party. It is a formal party where the family of Hyeon are invited to attend, conducted by his father's friend who is a famous music composer. He is not a type of individual who loves this kind of event, looking at it he is not good at socializing, he thinks that it is just for formality sake of people who are in the elite world.
His parents are busy talking to their friends while his brother is busy talking to other co-workers in his agency and with that he feels so alone, he has no one to talk to. His whole family came from the entertainment world. His father named Hyeon Dae-Ho is a board member in JK Entertainment which is one of the famous agency in Korea. His mother who is a pure Japanese named, Kasumi Inorin is a famous singer in theatre and also in the television. His brother named Hyeon Chin-Ho is a member of a popular group Cane and he is the lead singer.
It's not like joining the entertainment world doesn't reach his mind, actually it did, and he really wanted to. He dream of being famous like everyone of his family, sharing his talents in every people of his country. In his generation, music rocks the world, it is one thing that binds every kind of individual with the same interest and it connects everyone in the whole world. Korea's music industry is in its reign and start to expand and reach the whole world.
Feeling bored on the party, Jae-Hwa went to the comfort room to fix himself. He enters one of the cubicle and lock it out just planning to hide himself from the people around. Prominent people are everywhere, famous singers, dancer, music composer and managers. They are busy promoting themselves or their talents and it is one thing how entertainment works.
When he is done and about to go out he heard someone enter the place and start talking about him. The first thing he heard is his name, full name to be exact. He can recognized that voice, it is one of those guys who wanted to destroy him for some reason. Jae-Hwa is entering a artist school where in you are trained to be someone and also to debut in an agency that you wanted to and he knows it is one of his classmates who hated him that much.
"Chin-Ho hyung is so cool. Everyone is looking at him while he greet everyone on his way. I think he is searching for Jae-Hwa when we saw him." one of the voice said.
"I hate that Jae-Hwa, he acts so damn confident when he has no talent to show. He has just his parents and his brother's fame and that's the reason he stand out to everyone of us in the class."
"Eh? But I think Jae-Hwa is really good, the way he plays the piano is good. He looks beautiful for some reason."
"Stop admiring him, that babo does not worth it."
As Jae-Hwa heard them, saying those bad things about him he immediately open the door and then the two are surprised to see him standing and glaring at them with an evil smile flash on his face.
"Ja...Jae-Hwa?"
"Yeah it is me... So you are talking at me from behind huh." He started. "I didn't know that you hate me that much Hyen-ku, so you think that i am threat to your debut?"
"What if I am? You are just clinging to your parents name, you don't deserve to debut. You don't have talent. You are arrogant and very confident about yourself. "
"I am not clinging to my parent's fame nor to my brother. I am doing my best, showing my best in everything. I will debut because of my own effort and not because of their help."
"Even you said that you can't erase the fact that people will see you like that. Because of your parents it will be easy for you to enter the entertainment world, the gate is already open with you even you didn't do anything."
"Yo...Hwaganayo(stop it)!" Jae-Hwa shouted and then he punch Hyen-ku in his face and that start the fight. He don't like the feeling of comparing him to everyone. He doesn't want people to think that he will going to debut because of his parents position. He wanted to reach it on his own, coz every time they talk like that he feels that he doesn't know anything or he doesn't have any talent he can show of. He knows his parents are great, no doubt about that and even his brother as well and its true that agencies are approaching him asking him to join their group because of his families influence.

"Jae-Hwa, gen chahn ah yoh? (Are you alright?)" Chin - Ho asked as he saw Jae-Hwa pressing and ice bag on his face that Hyen - ku hit while they are fighting in the comfort room. "It looks terrible, are you planning to ruined that beautiful face of yours?"
"Shut up." Jea-Hwa responded. "Hyung-nim, did you tell it to mom and dad?"
"Aniyo(No.), coz i know you will get mad at me if I will tell it to them besides they are busy talking to the visitors but for sure ones we go back home they will ask about what happened to you because of that bruise on your face."
"It's his fault, he start talking to me trash and so..."
"He talk about you clinging on us again?" Chin - Ho asked and then Kei nodded. Chin-Ho smiled and then pinch the other side of Jae-Hwa cheeks until it turns red.
"Ahhh shibal! Jone na apu ne (Ahhhh that hurts!)" Jae-hwa shouted in pain. "Why did you do that?"
"To wake you up in reality, why are you so bothered about you clinging on us. Isn't it normal, we are your family. We wanted you to succeed. Aren't you happy that you can do it without any sweat?"
"i hate it... I really hate it. I want to do it on my own. With my own capability. I know it is weird but rising in top without doing anything makes me feel bad and then everyone will going to talk about me. I want to prove that i can do it on my own. I can do it without your help nor mom and dad."
"Jae-Hwa, you look so tough but you are really so soft. Stop crying already." Chin-Ho said while ruffling his brother's head.
"I am not crying, babo hyung-nim. (Stupid big brother)"

Jae-hwa lay down on his bed and look at the ceiling, his parents scolded him again of what he did. It's a long sermon but it didn't bother him, it is always like that since before. While laying down on his bed, he switch on the television and then look at the channel that he wanted to watch. One channel catch his attention, a television show with Japanese boys who are in the same age as him (18 years old) and they are eating and doing exciting stuffs. It is a documentary of a famous agency in Japan which focus on young boys and letting them debut as a singer and dancer.
Since his mother is a Japanese he already went there so many times. He also knows their language because it is one language that he tried his best to learn. While watching that show something pop up on his mind, an idea that will change his self and his life into something new.

"Young master." a maid called ones she opened the door of Jae-Hwa's room. She didn't see him anywhere in the room and what he saw is a piece of paper above the bed. He read it and it then she immediately give it to his parents who are eating breakfast together with Chin-Ho.
Dear Family,
Annyeong haseyo,(good morning) mom, dad, hyung-nim. I will be gone for a moment. I will go to Japan and start a life on my own. I am already 18 years old and i think i am not that young to live by myself. Before you react, i want to tell to you my reasons, I want to prove that i am someone else, i want to prove that i can do things on my own. I will debut on my own and not because i am son of a Hyeon so please let me do this. I know this is so sudden but don't worry i can take care of my own self. Don't try to pick me up, after 3 months, if i still not debut in Japan i will go back home and accept punishment for this reckless thing i did.

Jae-hwa reach the airport, he process everything on his own and now he has a visa to stay in Japan. That time he feels both excited and nervous. This will be the first time that he will going to live all alone. It is one step to his independence and he is not sure if he can do it. He knows that what he is doing is reckless but he wanted to do it so much. In Japan, there is no influence of his parents, there is no one who will tell to him he is just clinging to his families fame, everything will be with his own effort.
When he is on his way to the departure area someone called on his phone and it is his brother.
"Yobeseyo? (Hello?) Hyung-nim? Yeah, you read the letter already? Sorry if it is so sudden and i didn't bother to say goodbye personally coz i know mom and dad will not allow me to go. I'm gonna be fine, i will do my best."
"Jae-hwa, honestly there is no doubt that you will going to debut. We know you can, even without our influence." Chin-ho started to say in the other line. His parents are also there listening to the conversation of their son. "The path that you are facing is tough, Japan is different from Korea, are you sure you will gonna be fine?"
"Ne, i will be. Don't worry."
"If you say don't worry, that's the time i worry too much. Like i said, you look tough but you are weak inside. Jae-hwa if you feel like giving up just call us. We will come pick you up even the 3 months does not arrive yet."
"That will not happen. I need to go already, annyonghi kasayo. (Goodbye)"
"Annyonghi kyesayo. (Goodbye)"

"It's his departing time." Chin-ho told his parents.
"Jae-hwa is so reckless..." Kurumi said as she hugs his husbands arms. "But it's something i am proud of. He is really like me."
"Yeah, he is really like you. But this will be a big problem to him. His biggest problem is living his daily life. He even didn't know how to cook and he is so clumsy. I wonder if he will going to survive that 3 months." Dae-ho said.
"Poor, Jae-hwa, i hope he will going to be fine specially that Chin-ho is not with him. He always hangs around with you so much that it's hard for him to be independent."
"So you are blaming me for that?"
"Ne.(Yes)" both his parents answered.

Jae-hwa is already riding the airplane and he is flipping some pages of a magazine. He is reading and article about names in Japanese and it's meaning. While reading that he thinks that he need to change his name into a Japanese so that he will not stick out ones they know that he is a Korean.
"I wonder what name is good." he whispered as he is looking at the list of the name. While doing so, he remembered something on his mind. He remembers his mother said something to him before when he is young that he wanted to name his son 'Kei' coz it means smart or intelligence. "Kei... That doesn't sounds bad and then my family name will be... " he continued and then his finger stop somewhere in the page of the magazine and when he take a look at it, it is pointing on a name. "I...Inoo." he whispered again.
"Kei Inoo, yeah... I think that will be the name that i am using while i am in Japan. It sounds so fresh and smart too. I will be Kei Inoo from now on. Japan... Here i am."

Summer class start, yeah i am taking summer class coz i fail one of my subject T____T. I am supposed to be in semi-hiatus but while i am here in uni it seems like i have lots of vacant time than i have imagine and it's boring if i will not do something to spend my time and so i come up with this fic. I am also into writing the other chapters of my other ongoing fics but i wanted to post those chapters if i am already done with them so for now i will share "Who Wins My Heart" while you are waiting for my other fanfic to be updated. ^____^
I am not good at Korean language so the words that i used are just something i search on the internet so if it is not accurate, blame the internet lol.
Oh did you watch the latest shounen club? Inoo is so pretty with that curly kind of hairstyle and i really like it but again he has less exposure again dammit. And me and my sister are looking forward to Yuya's new drama which will be aired today. It is not only Yuya who we will going to support but of course the juniors but we are really excited to see Jessei. Well we are a big fan of JesseiXP
