You can see I've got a few things going on. The easiest way to keep myself from freaking out, stressing unnecessarily and not to get into trouble with friends is to just do scheduled shoots. Shoot me a note, a text, leave a response or anything and I'll get to it asap. First come first served sorta thing.

why scheduled shoots? Don't you just always carry around your camera with you? Why do I have to be inconvenienced by being forced to scheduled!

I'm sorry if some are taking the "scheduled shoots" as an inconvenience or an annoyance or even as me being "snobby/elitist". Please understand this from my perspective too. I love all of you, I adore taking photos for you. Anyone who's been willing enough to allow me to take photos of them hopefully understand that I literally pour my whole into the shoots. I'm doing this for free and I'm not the only one. Like many cosplay photographers I'm giving my time and my skills to take photos and do after shoot processing if necessary all for free. Think of it this way, it would be like you making a cosplay prop or sewing an outfit for absolutely free. Wouldn't it be easier for you to accomplish this if you're given a time frame to do it in and in or around the things in your life that are important? I also want to shoot any and everyone I can, but it's rude of me to start a shoot with one friend and stop and try to do a second photoshoot at the same time with another friend. I did it at AX.... Kimu practically carried me back to the hotel I was so gone and.... I didnt get all the shots I wanted and I didn't feel as if I had given the appropriate amount of attention to both groups.

oh top of that, there are medical reasons.
I'm a cake decorator by profession and because of improper training, the constant use of my hands at work and at home I've gone and given myself what they call "pitchers elbow" or ulnar tunnel. Think of it like slamming your funny bone really hard. that same painful and numbing sensation that goes from your fingers up to your neck, that's what I live with- every day. it's not on the ground sobbing pain, but it's a discomfort that has been interfering with my life for some time now and usually will keep me from sleeping making me a cranky Inoli which no one should have to deal with. Carrying around my nice camera [or heavy props] aggravates this injury.  I have breaks so I can set my nice camera down, but don't worry I'll always have my smaller one with!

are these rules? nope, if I have the free time and you happen to catch me of COURSE I'm willing to jump to a shoot. Photography is my first love, Cosplay a second, but I have already given my word to a few appointments I do wish to keep. Now that I have a new camera, and I'm still learning it it's going to be easier for me to keep appointments and a schedule while being both a cosplayer and a photographer. Please understand I'm still trying to find a balance between both worlds, do three things I love at once is...interesting.I'd love to accomplish all three at Fanime; Seeing Friends, photography and cosplay.  I thank you for your understanding! <3
