wow Three 6 Mafia... what a disappointment! "who here has oxycontin, we really need to buy some after the show"
after that disaster, sam and annie and i went to some party in Orange. not gonna lie, i got majorly plastered. i've come to a few realizations when i'm drunk.. i tend to push and hit guys a lot, and i stereotype incessantly. i met my first Tibetan person, ever, and i kept asking if he meditates, does yoga, and/or wears a lot of orange. i also met a Jew (a rarity! i LOVE Jews) and vaguely remember stressing how unbelievably rich he was going to be in the future.
the next day, Faint/Ladytron which i've been anticipating for months. i've been to many a show in my life, but after seeing The Faint yesterday for the second time, i realized i have much to learn and remember. things i should keep in mind for future boisterous events:
all-in-all, it was still an amazing show per usual. love the faint 4ever, don't care wat u say.
ps. poor Ladytron.. they were not as amazing last night. but that's because Velocifero sucked! they did play Seventeen, though, which brought me straight back to high school.

- bring absolutely nothing.. nothing. well, bring your ticket and your car KEY (not keys) and stick them in a secure bodily crevice of your choice. "keep it secret, keep it safe."
- i lied, make sure to bring your bitchy attitude, too. you'll need it to keep pushy assholes BEHIND you. "YOU. SHALL. NOT. PASS." wriggling your way to the front is a mortal sin.. unless you're slick at it like me.
- get a pair of Doc Martens and dub them "show shoes". i wish i had a lord of the rings reference for this one.
- wear cotton everything. i made the mistake of wearing synthetic materials last night, and i am surprised i didn't come home with a yeast infection.
- SIDE PONYTAIL SIDE PONYTAIL SIDE PONYTAIL
- on the note of hair, if you plan on rocking out extra hard, please make sure to shampoo that morning. dirty scalp aromas greatly intensify during rowdiness.
- contacts, never glasses. unless you install mini windshield-wipers to the lenses due to the effects of a combination of fog machines and ultra-hot steam emitting from your eyeballs.
- don't wear diamond studs, because all you'll do is get them ripped out of your lobes. RIP my diamond studs.
- prepare to get groped.
- i have nothing for #10.
