First, I've started paying attention to a Lebanese band called Soap Kills. Animate, if you know about this group, give my your opinion... Also, did you see 'Devils on the Doorstep'? We watched it in my Japanese culture class tonight.
School's continuing to go pretty well. Regardless of what everyone has said so far, I get accosted by 'dangerous elements' about 2-3 times a week back in Fayettenam, but never here. I'm sorry folks, but the comparison trial is over. Fayetteville is more dangerous than Charlotte, and with (or as a result of) a bigger drug problem. I'm sure that there are plenty of meth and crack heads here too, but I haven't had to step around any as they strangle their girlfriends in the curb yet, so as of now Charlotte has less of a visible problem.
I thought kendo was supposed to meet this night, but I think I must have misjudged the dates, so next Thurs must be the day... Still having my reservations about it, but I think it would be fun in the end, and reigning yourself in to follow strict rules always makes for a good challenge.
On the dating side of things, I've switched back into 'silent bad-ass mode', and of course this makes all the girls pay attention. But they still don't do anything... Desperate to be friends sure doesn't work and drives people away, and now this current one piques their interest, but then they become the ones too shy to do anything for fear of rejection.
For the love of HaShem, would someone please explain how the fudge this thing is supposed to work. I'm three breaths away from switching into 'deranged lunatic mode' and just violently scaring everyone away like I did at Terry Sanford. It doesn't actually accomplish anything, but it sure would feel good...
Tomorrow, the Japan club I joined ironically meets at the same time as my Japanese language class, so that won't be happening for now. All of you take care and work hard enough to appear busy but not so hard that you are actually working. またな。
