Worth

What is worth? The worth that something is assigned, how do you measure it? Is it by how much you would pay? Yes. But not money. Pain. Worth is inherently the amount of pain you are willing to endure for the sake of something. The pain can manifest in several ways. When being tortured, the worth of the secret being coaxed out of you is determined by how long you are willing to keep the secret. But when the pain is not physical. Mental, financial, spacial, emotional...pain exists in so many realms. The worth of everything is determined by how much pain, that is to say, how much of ourselves we are willing to sacrifice for something else. Someone. Money has these preconceived values, but they are not worth. Worth means more. Worth is pain.
