-Age: 22 now!
-RP/Scrubs Experience: I've been a Role Player since I was 15... so.. *counts on fingers*... I'm old and therefore that adds up to about a million years. I've also been a Scrubs fan for a while now too. My boyfriend is the one responsible for starting the slight obsession off. Obviously now he's kicking himself since I spend a lot of time talking about it. Not to mention my guilty pleasure that is JD/Cox.
-Why do you want to be this character? Originally I applied for JD, but being the Chocolate Bear to JD's Vanilla Bear would be a lot of fun. I absolutely love the interaction between JD and Turk. It usually has me laughing pretty much uncontrollably. I've also never played Turk, so it'll be a good challenge.
-Notes: I like both plotted storylines with people and just random posting that goes where ever. I'm not overly fussed about much other than it needs to be interesting and challenging! Slash-is-awesome-and-owns-my-soul-the-end. Smut, fluff, everything else... well, mostly.. is fine with me. Oh, and I love Turk/Carla. Which is a good thing. :P

-Name: Christopher Turk
-Age: 26
-Sexual Preference: Straight. Though people do sometimes think he and JD are a couple.
-Physical Appearance: Turk is a cool, well-built 6'0 tall man with a cheeky smile and a competitive streak that makes almost anything into a competition. He has two main features which are his bald head and the mole on his lip. He has brown skin which earned him the nicknames "Brown Bear" and "Chocolate Bear" from his best friend and partner in crime, JD. Turk is usually seen strutting the hospital corridors or dancing in the OR in a pair of green surgical scrubs, but when out and about in the world he tends to wear jeans, a cool t-shirt and a jacket. To others, Turk lets his competitive nature show, not bothered about people seeing it. Generally, he's quite easy going around other people and loves the usage of the following phrases: [to JD] "Dude, be whiter" and in 50% of sentences (okay, maybe I'm overestimating, but it's amusing) to Carla, "intimate relations" is stuck in there somewhere.
-Personality: Turk is a very competitive person. He says that his competitive nature drove him to "play everything" in high school, and also cites it as the main reason why he became a surgeon. He can frequently be seen throughout the series playing basketball outside the hospital, or engaging J.D. in childishly competitive games (such as "Steak", wherein whoever finishes their steak first wins, or "Gravel," in which one person puts gravel into another person's shoe when they aren't looking). He constantly strives to be the best surgeon on the team of surgical residents and can be seen to invest a lot of time into bettering himself. Turk considers his strengths to be his competitive nature, his fitness, his friendship with JD, his relationship with Carla and a reasonably carefree, fun-loving attitude. He is also a passionate christian. Whilst his competitiveness can be a good thing, Turk sometimes lets it get the better of him and can hurt people, unintentionally, by being too focused on it. Turk's biggest vunerability is probably the fact that whilst he doesn't like showing his emotion (including hugging JD), he does feel a lot and sometimes he doesn't know how to communicate that with others.
-Background: Turk has at least two brothers, Kevinand Jabbari (formerly went by the name Bob.) He also mentions a sister, a "bipolar Aunt Leslie" and four cousins: Nfume (who it is implied hails from an African cultural background), George, Tiger, and Shedaisy. His mother's name is Margaret and is a Jehovah's Witness. Turk also has a grandmother.
His brother, Kevin put Turk through college and medical school. Turk's mother has never liked any of his girlfriends. He describes his brother Jabbari as "militant", and while the members of his family are seemingly dysfunctional, they are very close to each other.

After the revelations brought about by Jordan, Cox's ex-wife and fire-breathing demon, Turk was in trouble. Not just in trouble, but in trouble. Carla was refusing to speak to him, JD was playing his own avoidance game, and everyone seemed to be trying to steer a million miles clear of everyone else. Annoyed - mainly because he was put off his food, and he always hated it when he was put off his food - Turk knew he had to do something. When Carla wasn't talking to him, he knew it would take a hell of a lot of work to make things right, and even then, it wasn't like he even had a choice in the matter. He was well aware of the fact that Carla was the boss of him. And most other people. He sighed and leaned against a wall just up the corridor from the Nurse's Station, shaking his head, he turned as he heard the familiar sound of a painful hi-five and fixed his eyes on The Todd who was saying something along the lines of "Inappropriate Five!". Pausing for a second, and shooting a look back the other way, Turk headed towards The Todd. He couldn't fix everything now, could he? Instead, he'd hang with The Todd and try and nurse a big, greasy cheeseburger. Maybe he'd try and catch JD later at home.
