-Age: 19
-RP/Scrubs Experience: I've played a lot of Final Fantasy characters and wanted to try my hand at Scrubs RP. I've been a fan of the show for many years now, and ritually watch two episodes a night before I go to sleep.
-Why do you want to be this character? Kelso? Because he's my favourite. He's hilarious, cracks me up constantly, I love that he's so mean and horrible, and the way he is 'nice' at times and then quickly covers it up. In short, Kelso rocks.
-Notes: Well I like activity in an RP and I honestly don't mind where it's going, as long as it's going. I'm cool with slash!
*CHARACTER Profile
-Name: Dr. Robert "Bob" Kelso
-Age: 54
-Sexual Preference: Straight
-Physical Appearance: Bob Kelso is the Cheif of Medicine and therefore maintains a professional appearance at all times. He is of medium height and build, with blond/grey hair and green eyes. Though in his 50s 'Bob' still looks rather youthful.
-Personality: The jerk of all jerks. Kelso dislikes everyone he works with, with the exception of Nurse Roberts who he refers to as 'one of the good ones.' He hates his wife, Enid, and cheats on her endlessly, (but deep down he really does care for her). Kelso has to make the hard decisions for the good of the hospital, and at times shows that he really does care, although this rarely happens.
-Background: Kelso grew up in Pennsylvania. His father, Dr. Kelsonovich, was also a doctor, who endeared himself to his poorer patients by accepting gifts such as food and clothing in lieu of actual payment; he was apparently less generous to his own family, however, having left them on Kelso's own bike. Kelso was in the Navy during the Vietnam War. His wife worked in his hospital as a nurse during his early career. Kelso seems to pine for the old days of being a doctor, having not personally dealt with patients since he was promoted to Chief of Medicine. He misses the days when doctors were respected, well wished, and even rewarded for their service to humanity.
*Sample RP Post*:
Monday morning, 9am, time to begin another shift. Truth was Kelso loved the way the people in this place seemed to fear him. A walk down the hall meant nurses and doctors alike averting their gazes, quickly running off to double check on patients, and many an intern...
"Doctor Kelso can I ask you a quick question?" A pesky intern, when would they learn that questions are not allowed. Bob turned around, a look of contempt across his face.
"No."
"But Sir, it's about a patient and.."
"What has two thumbs and doesn't give a crap?" He gave two thumbs up and smiled, "Bob Kelso."
Quickly the look of contempt wiped out any hint of the smile, and then, hands behind his back and the evil eye going out to anyone who made eye contact, he started to head towards his office.
The perfect start to the day.
