-Age: 22
-RP/Scrubs Experience: I actually have very little RP experience, and it was quite some time ago, but I'm pretty sure I can catch on again just as quickly, especially since so much contact between characters is so encouraged. As far as Scrubs experience goes, I'm a primarily slash writer, and I've written one complete three-part arc, I'm in the middle of a two-parter, and I've written at least 14 drabbles and one one-shot OT3. I can give you the link to them if you wish.
-Why do you want to be this character? Honestly, for one, someone asked me. Two, I'd like to spread around a JD that isn't quite as girly as everyone tends to make him. Three, he's a silly, dynamic character with lots of love and loyalty, and has the potential to change in so many ways through his experiences and relationships. It'd be interesting to interact him into this sort of RP environment.
-Notes: I don't really have any notes...I do love up on the slash, it's what I predominantly write. I would like to go ahead and say I am not opposed to the OT3 of Jordan/JD/Cox, though I'm mostly just a JD/Cox fan. I can't say I've ever been a fan, however, of Janitor/JD. Again, it's been so long since I've RP'ed that I can't really say what I do or don't like.

*CHARACTER Profile
-Name: Dr. Johnathon "JD" Michael Dorian, MD (ha, his last two initials)
-Age: I'm going to guess (sorry) that if he's still a resident, 30
-Sexual Preference: I'm going to go with Bi, but again, big slash fan. Huge hater of JD/Elliot though.
-Physical Appearance: Bluish-green eyes, 6'0 tall, fairly pale but I've noticed freckles on his shoulders when he's topless, dark brown hair that is usually gelled to the sky in a twisty sort of fashion. I'd imagine his hair is his predominant feature, but he's also pretty skinny. His clothes kind of remind me of a granola-crunching skater with all the layering going on (or he does it to look more buff). I'd imagine others tend to view his "style" as metrosexual to a certain extent, though he still has that "guy" thing going on of loose jeans and comfy shirts. I haven't seen any scars on him, but I can change that for the story if JDA needs to ensue.
-Personality: JD is a goofy, happy-go-lucky, geeky sort of guy who thinks he can help anyone and save anyone. He's a doctor for that reason; he wants to help people. I tend to think he might be a bit shy at times, though he likes to throw himself into anything. He tends to have wacky daydreams whenever something strikes his mind, which I'd imagine means he has a short attention span. He is loyal to his friends enough that he'd do anything for them and be there no matter what the case. He is in a constant search for Dr. Perry Cox's approval and friendship; though at times, it seems like perhaps he wants something more. His weaknesses, I think, would be Dr. Cox, emotional cases in the hospital, high-pressure situations, admitting the things that he truly wants, and being completely honest with himself about the things that he truly wants. His strengths include diagnostics, naturally high intelligence, a warm, kindly manner towards most people, and making others laugh/feel good about themselves. I would imagine his biggest vulnerability is just that; *being* that vulnerable in front of others, especially Dr. Cox.

Here's JD's background and my sample RP post.
-Background: I know he's from Ohio. His childhood wasn't happy, though I don't think all of the sexual abuse that most people write was in what I imagine for his childhood. I think his mom had bad boyfriends who would knock him around or lock him in small enclosed areas for days at a time. Dan would look the other way simply because it's a bit too hard for him to deal with. I'd imagine that the enclosed spaces still affect him very much so today in that he wouldn't be able to stand being in them for very long. I'd also say that the darkness isn't something he enjoys muchly either. His education includes a pre-major that I'm not sure of, four years of med school in California where he met his best friend, Chris Turk, and then onto his internship at Sacred Heart. There, he met Perry Cox and Carla Espinosa (as well as other players), and has been a resident there now for a year (if I'm correct on the timeline).
*Sample RP Post*: JD strolled into the hospital with a grin. He resisted the urge to skip and whistle (which promptly had the Andy Griffith theme stuck in his head).
He'd had a good morning. It had included beating Turk to the last of the apple jacks and therefor getting the prize (he did so love his decoder ring collection), and had evolved into finding twenty bucks in his winter coat, which meant he could splurge a bit on lunch today (and by the smell of it, it was pudding *and* hamburger day!).
JD stepped off the elevator, hands in his pockets as he grinned and waved at others, and began about his morning duties and rounds.

There's already a JD journal created, bellehiver has the password and such. And JD's already in an RP thread with Dan so if you want to get into that after you get all settled into the JD journal that would be awesome.

It's no problem, and I'll try my hardest with JD. I'm much more comfortable in the Coxy-element, so this will be a definite help in both writing and RP experience ^_^
I'll get in touch with bellehiver and grab it up. I'll takea look into the RP threat with Dan, and see what's going on and also see if I can't manage a dry run with RP'ing to get back into the habit XD
I still can't believe no one really wanted JD...how peculiar. It must be a curse...*does three turns and spits* There, protected now. ;)

I think lot's of people wanted JD, but then got scared off by an application of him... and applied for other characters. So when the JD we chose could no longer do it, there just weren't enough people interested in RPing left or... something. ^^"
Yes, poor Dan is like frozen on top of JD right now. ^^ Good times, but I'm sure it's getting awkward for the brothers. : p

Different is sometimes good. ^^ He still seems very JD-ish to me!
Yes, it's awkward! But God, I do enjoy putting characters in awkward situations. : p
