Awesome week. Also odd week O: But good week none the less.
For future reference, this has been the wierdest week of my life.
-Sunday I had to work, but Kai IMed me at night to hang out monday after I got out of work.
Ok. So monday.
1- Hung out with Kai, which I was meaning to hang with for a long time and it was fun, I like meeting and hanging out with J-rock peoples for some reason.
2- Got attacked in a manner only fan girls attack, NOT BY KAI.
3- Band Practice.
-Tuesday went about pretty normal, just work and with lack of sleep.
-Wednesday.
Pretty normal, just work, band practice, which was awesome with the full band, and on lack of sleep.
-Thursday
Work, got off early. Went to see Vital Remains in St. Pete. That night, I hadn't felt so sad and happy by the end of the night since I can't remember when. Mostly because I got to meet and hang out with Dave Suzuki, a big inspiration for me. Not only in music but in life. His life is not easy and still he makes the music he makes and helps make and performs it greatly. We talked like person to person, not like fan to musician. It was great. Just as how we had the same music likes, it was like "wow, this guy understands and feels music like I do." Definately a great moment for me. I really hope he listens to that one band I recommended and that they come back to Florida soon, and may he remember me XD
-Friday
I woke up with lack of sleep once again. Trying to finish the work for the Gackt panel, which couldn't be finished. Went back to sleep, woke up a few hours later so I could wait for Jen to get here. They found the place easily, which was good XD usually it takes a while to find the house. So they made it fine here we watched some family guy, some Panda-Z, XDD it was very interesting, then we went out to get sodas, eat, and the mall. When we got back We played Gauntlet 2 on an arcade classics PS2 game disc for like 3 hours XD It was hilarious seeing Jen and Ken play that game specially since she wanted more keys and treasure and Ken kept trying to get it all. It gave me the gigglets (Giggle Gaunlets). After that we pretty much went to sleep so we could get ready for the con.
-Saturday
We woke up and started getting ready for the con. Jen did some make up on me, I did her hair, which ended up looking cute/cool O.O and I liked what she did on my eyes, but it was my first time wearing makeup XD Anyway, we stormed the con, and I have to say out of all the cons I've been too, this one has been the funnest one. I do not know but something about it struck out so well. Screw the convention, I mean the people I was around and the building, something flowed so well that made the day so pleasing and easy.
Highlights of the Metrocon 2006 saturday:
- Hanging out with Charlie. That guy is great, known him for a while but we never hung out in person.
- Hanging out with Jen at a convention.
- Mari (girl at the J-rock booth) gave me her contact information without me asking for it. We have talked at every convention we've seen each other for about a Year now. I love her stories, she has the best ones ever XD
- Saying hi to almost about everyone I wanted to see:
Sara, Jared, Rusty, Kai, Chibi, Mari, Richard, Kyokyo, Alex, Adrian, Ann. I hung out with other people too, it was great.
- The Gaia party thinger.
- Getting some more of Rustys art work.
- Hanging out at night in a circle with Charlie, Ken, Juan, Angelica (which stalked and almost assaulted me through half the con XD), and Jen. It was very random, full of engrish, Mecha Tifa jokes, and relaxing.
- Mecha Tifa a.k.a Mifa, Beefa.
We left the con very tired late at night or rather early sunday.

We woke a bit late, but rested. Went to the con for a few hours, it was mostly to just drop Jen and Juan off so they could return to Orlando with his sister. Got to see some of the same people again and talk a little bit. I wore Jens Hello kitty hat, it was awesome X3. Right before leaving I found Jen, Juan, said our good byes and hope to be able to hang out again. Right before I left the room with the costume contest I saw Chibi walking off stage so I waited and gave her a hug and said bye. Said bye to Angelica as well, which was stalking me again XD and left. Right before leaving the road that is in front of the con center I saw Kai walking in her awesome looking Gazette cosplay coat thinger, also 2 people behind her was Jen and everybody else so I rolled down the window and flailed my arms and said by as Ken and I drove off. After that I got some groceries because I had no food at all XD.
All in all. It was an awesome time. I loved it. I have no idea if another con will top this one, or in fact If I will have another aweasome week like this one.
