Update
I know that quite a few of the local people already know this.. and others have been informed via e-mail but this is the easiest way to let people know things...
Hubby hurt his back a bit ago (helping relatives move large, heavy objects). There were chiro visits and doctor visits and the pain didn't seem to be bothering him a ton in the begging but it never quite went away and then it started getting a lot worse... Monday I took him to the doctor (I happened to be home to do it because the sis who watches Sam was in Missouri this week due to her mom-in-law passing away). Within 10 minutes of him being there the doc says that he needs to go to the hospital...
Long story short -- that's where he still is. He's still in pain but doing a little bit better mainly due to strong drugs and being able to lie down a lot... and the steriod shot they gave him.
It looks like I'll be home tomorrow too (much to the chagrin of my work-place) so if people want updates or whatnot I might check e-mail or you can call the house if you have the number or my cell.
I'll try to post updates here as well.
